Warplanes continue to target the countryside of Idlib and Hama and shell areas of presence of headquarters of military factions operating in the area in conjunction with rounds of intensive ground shelling
The warplanes continue to fly in the sky of Idlib and Hama provinces as part of the escalation in the area, which has been taking place since the morning of the 7th of September 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more shelling targeted areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, where the warplanes shelled areas in the vicinity of Kafr Zita and targeted an area of Jaysh al-Nasr headquarters which is operating in the area, coincided with renewed raids on areas in the vicinity of al-Hbit town, targeted the same areas of the first raids while the people are lifting the rubble of the headquarters of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, and intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the raids which were carried out today targeted headquarters areas of factions operating in the area, also the regime forces targeted by tens of missiles areas in al-Hbit town and its surroundings in the southern countryside of Idlib, which caused more destruction and material damage but no information about casualties.
The Syrian Observatory documented today, Friday, the death of a civilian in addition to at least one fighter of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, also 18 other civilians and fighters were injured, some of whom are still in dangerous situation which may raise the death toll, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that successive explosions shook the southern countryside of Idlib, breaking the calm of the 24th day of the truce, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes targeting areas in the outskirts and the vicinity of al-Hbit town near the administrative border with Hama and other areas in Tal Aas area, after yesterday’s airstrikes which targeted areas in al-Tamanah town and other areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, and other areas on the outskirts and the vicinity of KafrZitta town and Wadi al-Anaz area, which damaged property but no information about casualties, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces targeted places in al-Ziyara town in the northwestern countryside of Hama, but no information about casualties, also this raids come in the 3rd day of aerial targeting since the Russian raids that targeted on the 4th of September 2018 areas in the triangle of Idlib – northern Mountain of Latakia –Sahl al-Ghab, which killed 13 civilians including 6 children and 4 women, and injured more than 30 other civilians.
