The SDF arrest 29 members of the organization and their families in Deir Ezzor Desert including Turks, Russians and persons of other nationalities

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that the Syria Democratic Forces managed to arrest 29 members of the “Islamic State” organization and their families, in Deir Ezzor Desert, and the reliable sources confirmed that the arrests which took place about 24 hours ago, were carried out while members were trying to flee with their families from Deir Ezzor towards the Syrian – Iraqi border, then they will head towards Turkey, and the sources added that among the captives and detainees, there were a Turkish member and 3 others of non-Syrian nationalities, who were with their Russian wives, with other fighters of Syrian and regional nationalities, also large sums of money were found in their possessions, also a female Yazidi captive was with them, where she was released by the SDF.

And the Syrian Observatory monitored in the past days, the displacement of tens of Syrian and non-Syrian families, including a Yazidi family through al-Sha’fa crossing who was within the enclave which is controlled by the organization, and the family managed to reached the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas, and in the past few days tens of Syrians and non-Syrian families have gotten out towards areas controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, where the non-Syrian families are being transferred to camps of the Syria Democratic Forces and under their control, while the Syrian families are allowed to leave to the villages of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the International Coalition repeatedly dropped leaflets in the past days, on the controlled areas of the organization calling on the citizens to displace and on the members of the organization to surrender, after opening al-Shafa crossing and entering aid and foodstuffs to the enclave which is controlled by the organization, and the Syrian Observatory also monitored previously that the Organization definitively canceling the “al-Hisba” security branch, and focusing on the security aspect to protect this enclave, which is witnessing mobilization by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces with huge amounts of weapons, vehicles, ammunition, equipment, and fighters, and local sources confirmed that the role “of al-Hisba” no longer exists after it was canceled by the organization, and also the organization itself is now only focusing on the security and military aspects, after the punishment and accounting used to be carried out against all people because of “shaving the chin, wearing clothes do not go with Sharia law, and not being committed to praying and closing shops at the time of praying”, and other punishments, also that coincided with the decrease in the frequency of executions to the extent of absence since several weeks, also the security tightening and caring for the military aspect by the “Islamic State” Organization, came in conjunction with bringing more military reinforcement by the International Coalition Forces and the forces of the Syria Democratic Forces, through which the Syria Democratic Forces aim to end the presence of the Organization in the entire east of Euphrates.
