The recent hours witness heavy artillery and rocket shelling targeted the south of Idlib province and the northern countryside of Hama as a part of escalating the violations to the fragile truce

The regime forces returned to interrupt the calm which prevailed the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the recent hours, shelling by the regime forces on areas in Barnah village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the fall of a number of wounded, amid confirmed information about the death of a child girl, while the SOHR monitored artillery and rocket shelling on areas in Al-Khwaiyn town and Al-Zarzur village, as well as areas in the towns of Murak and M’aarkaba in the northern countryside of Hama, amid targeting to areas in Tel A’as village and the outskirts of Al-Hbit town, as well as areas in the towns and villages of Hish, Al-Tah, Abu Omar, Sham Al-Hawa, Al-Taman’aa, Sukayk, the vicinity of Tahtaya and the outskirts of Khan Shaykhun city, in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, also shells fell on areas in Arzeh village and other areas controlled by the regime forces in the western countryside of Hama and the area of Hama Military Airbase, which caused material damage, without information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the Russian – Turkish truce which is applied in the provinces of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia, is witnessing significant decrease in terms of the guarantors’ commitment, as their promises evaporated with increasing the military concentration for launching the grand battle of Idlib, that alerts of continued killing and destruction in the area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of calm to the northern countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib and Sahl Al-Ghab, after shelling by the regime forces which targeted areas in the villages and towns of Umm Jalal, Tahtaya, Sayyan, Raba Al-Jur, Al-Khazzanat in the south-east of Khan Shaykhun, in Idlib countryside, and Hasaraya and the area between Khan Shaykhun and Murak in the north of Hama, as well as Al-Mansurah, Al-Tuba, and Al-Kirkat in Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Shashabo, as well as bombardment by warplanes by about 16 raids on areas in the villages of al-Zakat and Hasraya, also the regime’s helicopters targeted by about 53 explosive barrels, al-Hbit, al-Lataminah, KafrZitta, Latmin, al-Bwayda, Lahaya, Abdeen and the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, and the shelling caused a large number of injuries, some of whom are still in serious conditions, also the extensive ground and aerial bombardment and shelling caused damage and destruction in the infrastructure and property of citizens.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored displacement movement of areas in Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Twinah, Sharia, and al-Jamasa to areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah and the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, fearing the expansion and escalation of shelling by the regime forces and the Russians, where the Syrian Observatory monitored a number of helicopters and warplanes alternating to shell the north of Hama and the south of Idlib, while the ongoing bombardment comes within this ongoing escalation since Tuesday the 4th of September 2018, documenting ongoing violations to the Russian – Turkish truce supposed to be applied in Hama, Idlib, Lattakia and Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored rocket shelling by the regime forces since the morning of today, Monday, the 10th of September 2018, on towns and villages in the countryside of both Idlib and Hama, where they shelled places in the towns and villages of al-Tah, Jarjanaz, Hish, and al-Tamanah in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, which injured a person at least, also the shelling this morning targeted areas in Tal Osman and al-Bana in the northern countryside of Hama, followed by shelling on areas in al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, but no information about casualties, and the SOHR published yesterday that it rose to at least 24, the number of civilian casualties they are: 14 civilian casualties including 4 children and 2 women who were killed in bombardment and shelling by warplanes, helicopters, and the regime forces on the vicinity of al-Hbit, Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-al-Twinah, al-Serj, al-Halba, and the vicinity of Abdeen in the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 10 casualties including a woman and 3 of her children and their grandmother, in addition to 2 sisters all of them were killed in a massacre carried out by a faction called Ansar al-Tawhid after it shelled Muhradah city, which is inhabited by the majority of Christian citizens north of Hama, also, it rose to 241, the number of raids and barrel bombs which were carried out in the past 72 hours, where the warplanes have carried out 121 raids at least, which targeted the northern countryside of Hama and both southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and the regime’s helicopters also dropped at least 120 explosive barrels on the same areas, amid shelling by more than 820 artillery and rocket shells, within the most violent airstrikes and ground shelling in weeks on the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce, while the heavy bombardment and shelling in less than 72 hours, resulted in the displacement of more than 5400 people within Idlib province, where they moved to areas in the northern countryside of Idlib, and the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, away of areas of contact with the regime forces, after the Russian – Turkish truce witnessed in its 26th, 25th and 24th days the heaviest and most violent violations that caused casualties and material losses.
