The ground and aerial bombardment on ISIS last enclave escalates again after 2 helicopters and columns of the Coalition and SDF headed to the enclave

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued military operation of the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition in the area of the east of the Euphrates River, within the operations of finishing ISIS last enclave in the east of the Euphrates completely through taking the control of the last enclave which is controlled by the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory monitored heavy bombardment by the International Coalition’s warplanes on areas in Hajin and the entire enclave, along with artillery and rocket shelling by the SDF and the Coalition, amid the continued clashes between the SDF against the members of the organization, accompanied by retreat by the latter in the area, for the former, while the reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that 2 columns of the International Coalition of 10 Hummer vehicles supported by armored vehicles, were monitored heading towards the organization’s controlled areas, in conjunction with the passing of 10 four-wheel drive vehicles (4×4) towards the controlled areas of the organization, carrying members of the SDF, also 2 military helicopters of the International Coalition headed from Al-Omar Oilfield towards the controlled areas of the organization in its last enclave, without information about the reasons for the heading of all of these groups towards the enclave, followed by heavy artillery and rocket shelling on the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, that at least 17 members of the “Islamic State” Organization were killed, in addition to the injury of others with varying severity, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some of the wounded are in critical situation, and because of the constant and violent shelling on the area, and in conjunction with this last military operation against ISIS in its last enclave east of Euphrates, -which, if completed, and the International Coalition and SDF took control of this enclave- the “Islamic State” organization will only have direct fronts with the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them west of Euphrates and in the Syrian Desert, in the same context the prisons of the organization in its last enclave at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, still contain hundreds of prisoners distributed in Hajin and Al-Shaafa, where there are 2 prisons in Al-Shaafa containing more than 1350 prisoners including members of the organization mostly of foreign nationalities with various charges such as security charges, and in Hajin town, there are about 800 prisoners accused of various charges, and the Syrian Observatory published previously, that it learned from reliable sources, that the Coalition Forces continue their intelligence search for a major tunnel in Hajin area, where the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the French Forces in particular have obtained incomplete information about a tunnel for the organization in Hajin area, which is about 8 km long and the cars and vehicles can go through it, where the French Forces are trying to get full information about the tunnel and its location, so that the International Coalition can start the military operation, also obtained information from reliable sources reported that there are more than 65 first-rank commanders of the “Islamic State” organization in Hajin town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, the majority of them are of Iraqi nationality in addition to foreign nationalities.
