Turkish Forces continue to send military reinforcements of machineries, equipment, and members to their observation posts in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo Provinces

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a military convoy of the Turkish Forces through Kafrluseen border crossing north of Idlib after midnight of yesterday, where the column included about 15 military vehicles (including 6 tanks) and went towards the Turkish point in Shir Magar area in Shashabo Mountain in the western countryside of Hama, the column was then split into two parts; one left at Shir Magar point and the other one headed towards Ishtabraq point.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 13th of September 2018 that a new Turkish column entered the Syrian territory through Kafrluseen border crossing north of Idlib, where the column entered on Thursday morning, the 13th of September 2018, and it was divided into two parts: one of which went towards the Turkish point in the northern countryside of Hama and the other one headed towards al-Sarman point in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man city, and the Turkish column includes tanks, military equipment, and logistics.

and the Syrian Observatory published on the 3rd of September 2018, that a new Turkish column entered Syrian territory at dawn of today, Monday, the 3rd of September 2018, through Kafrluseen border crossing north of Idlib Province, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: more than 30 military vehicles entered the Syrian territory at dawn of today, where the column headed towards the Turkish point in Morek area in the northern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory published on the first of September 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a new Turkish column of tens of vehicles, consists of military, logistic equipment, and soldiers of the Turkish Forces into the Syrian territory, where the column entered after midnight of yesterday and split into two parts, the first part reached the Turkish point in Morek area in the northern countryside of Hama, and the other one arrived at the Turkish point in al-Sarman area in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, in a continuation of the operations of strengthening the Turkish observation points which are deployed in several areas in the provinces of Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo, and to switch the forces present at these points and enhance their presence before the start of regime’s military operation in Idlib.

This reinforcement of sites comes after the failure of negotiations between the “jihadist” factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham operating in Idlib Province, and between the Turkish intelligence, within its endeavors to persuade Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions to resolve themselves before the regime forces start the military operation, of which they have been preparing to carry out in Idlib Province, and its surroundings from the provinces of Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Latakia, during which the regime forces seek to control the factions’ controlled areas in the above-mentioned provinces, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham are mostly still refusing to dissolve themselves or accept any alternative solutions to the fight until the end, where these factions are affirming that and rejecting any kind of bargaining, negotiation, and reconciliation with the regime or any other party allied with the regime, this stubbornness is accompanied by confusion among their leaders and members, as a section of which has agreed to the demands of the Turkish authorities to resolve themselves, while the larger section rejects this process and refuses to approve any of the Turkish terms within the Negotiations, and the Syrian Observatory published on Monday morning, the 27th of August 2018 that  reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that these negotiations come after increased pressures by regional and international parties on the Turkish side, in parallel with the increase in pace of the preparations for Idlib battle, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham controls the largest part of Idlib province, and shares it with other 3 parties: the rebel and Islamic factions, the Islami Turkestani Party, and the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, also the sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the Turkish Forces are trying to persuade Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and other parties of the negotiation, warning them of the consequences of not agreeing to the solution, which is to bear the burden and responsibility of the military operation to be conducted in Idlib province, for which the regime forces and their allies have been significantly preparing over the past weeks, by bringing in thousands of members of their forces and loyal gunmen as well as hundreds of faction fighters who have recently joined the “reconciliation”, and hundreds of vehicles, armored vehicles, ammunition, and machinery, and deploying them in areas starting from Latakia Mountains down to the southern countryside Aleppo through Sahl al-Ghab and the northern countryside of Hama and the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on Thursday morning, the 29th of August 2018, the entry of vehicles and armored vehicles of the Turkish forces across the Syrian – Turkish border into the countryside of Idlib and Hama, where intersected sources confirmed that a section of the column headed to al-Sarman point in the eastern countryside of Idlib, while the other section headed to the Turkish observation point in Morek area in the northern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory monitoring the vehicles carrying on board several soldiers and equipment. The entry of this new column comes within the series of operations of switching soldiers by the Turkish forces at the observation posts, or strengthening the points with more soldiers, in conjunction with entering several shipments carrying concrete blocks and prefabricated walls through the border crossing between Turkey and Syria, where the Turkish forces are using them to fortify their military points and surround them with concrete blocks and walls in anticipation of surprise attacks that may target them and to increase the protection of their members.

And the SOHR published on Wednesday that obtained information from a number of reliable sources, which confirmed to the SOHR that the Turkish forces are working through increasing their mobilization, on protecting what the sources called as “areas that owned by the Turks”, within Idlib province, which is located in the Syrian North and which is witnessing preparations for a military operation that may be carried out by the regime forces and their allies any time, in the case that no consensus is reached between Russia and Turkey about the future of the province, and the future of the Jihadist organizations such as Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Islamic Party of Turkestan and Hurras al-Dien organization operate in the province, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that there are 15 villages in the south-eastern sector of Idlib countryside, in the area between Maarrat Al-Nu’man and Sinjar area, including Al-Sayyadi, Barsah, Khyara, Seraa and Saree, have been owned by the Turks, since the time of the Ottoman presence in the area, which pushed the Turks, according to the sources, to interfere strongly and bring grand military forces and large numbers of members, equipment, ammunition and vehicles in addition to fortifying their military posts stationed in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.

The reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that Turkey depends to prove that it owns these areas, on titles and deeds of ownership of these villages, and what supports this claim is that Turkey deliberately established 3 observation posts in the east of the International Highway which passes through Idlib province and links between the Syrian – Turkish border and the Syrian – Jordanian border, and Turkey also depends on similar proofs to prove its ownership of other areas such as Jarabulus, Manbij and the areas where Ottoman commanders had been buried as well as shrines belong to the same period, within the Syrian territory, while the Syrian Observatory monitored days ago, that a meeting was held between representatives of the administrative, political and religious bodies in the province of Lattakia, Sahl Al-Ghab and Jisr Al-Shughur, and between the Turkish forces, in one of the Turkish posts in Syria, where the meeting included demands presented by the representatives of these areas to the Turkish forces, with regard to “the demanding of Turkish protection through preventing the regime forces from shelling these areas, revealing the fate of these areas and the Turkish formal attitude in the case that the regime forces carry out their threat to attack the area, the demanding of the Turkish brothers’ help and contribution in reactivating the main services, in the areas which are located within areas under their protection such as Jisr Al-Shughur and the villages of its western countryside and Sahl Al-Ghab, especially the restoration of schools, dispensaries, hospitals, water and electricity institutions, roads between the villages and towns, and the telecommunication sector, which were subjected to substantial damage in the past years, and the demanding of joining the areas of Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Al-Turkman to the Turkish posts of protection such as the areas and townships of Rabiaa, Kinsabba and Salma, which will contribute in the return of the residents of these two areas (Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Al-Turkman) to their villages, and decreasing the number of displaced people in the displacement camps, which are spread near the Turkish border, where people suffer from tragic conditions in these camps.
