The security chaos continues within Idlib province and the areas around it of the adjacent provinces along with the continuation of cells to carry out assassinations, kidnapping and killing operations
Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information reporting that unidentified gunmen have kidnapped a media activist in Hama province, where the kidnapping was carried out in the northern sector of Hama countryside, without information about the identity of the kidnappers, and this incident comes as a part of the continued military chaos in Idlib province and other areas in its vicinity, as a result of the continuation of the cells which are responsible for the assassinations and detonations, to carry out their operations of killing, kidnapping and detonations, without any of the parties that supervise the security of the area, being able to know their identity, reach the perpetrators, or even control the chaos caused by the detonations whose pace escalates every now and then.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 306 people who have been assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, since the 26th of April 2018, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 60 civilians including 9 children and 6 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 212 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 31 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization.
And the Syrian Observatory monitored on Sunday the 16th of September 2018, the explosion of an IED on the road linking the towns of Kafr Nubl and Kansafra in the southern countryside of Idlib province, which caused material damage but no information about casualties so far, and the Syrian Observatory monitored yesterday, Saturday, the explosion of an IED in Sarmin town east of Idlib city, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the assassination of a member believed to be a member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where he was shot in the northern countryside of Idlib.
