After 4 years that left more than 8000 casualties including prominent leaders, airstrikes of the “International Coalition” kill “the former Wali of Raqqa” in the last ISIS enclave east of Euphrates

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that a leader of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian nationality was killed in strikes of the International Coalition that targeted areas in the organization-controlled enclave on the east banks of Euphrates river, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the last 48 hours witnessed targeting al-Sha’afah area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which is controlled by the organization, which killed the leader known as “Abu Hamza al-Wali”, and the sources confirmed that the latter is Awwad al-Mekhlef of al-Tabaqa city, where he was released from the Syrian regime prisons in early 2011, and he was “the Wali of Raqqa” and before that he was the “Amir al-Tabaqa” and previously “Vice of al-Raqqah Wali”, where he was handed over the position of Wali “al-Raqqah State” after the battle of control of al-Tabaqa airport and being able to lead it with other leaders of the Organization.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the former Wali of al-Raqqah “Abu Hamza al-Wali” was present in the last enclave of the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates, which was targeted by the strike, and he was accompanied by his brother who is one of the prominent security leaders in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, and he left a few minutes before executing the strike on the car by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition, and it worth mentioning that the Syrian Observatory documented since the 23rd of September 2014 until today the 23rd of September 2018, the death of 8024 members of the “Islamic state” at least, most of them are not Syrians, including tens of leaders of Syrian, Arab and foreign nationalities, most notably Abu Omar al-Shishani, Abu Osama al-Iraqi the Wali of “al-Baraka State”, Amer al-Rafdan the former Wali of “al-Khair State”, the leader Abu Sayyaf, Aby Jandal al-Kuwaiti, Abu Sufiyan al-Omrani and Abu Huthayfa al-Orduni and many other of the first and second rank leaders on the Organization.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that that the violent clashes in their 16th consecutive day, resulted in the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the both parties, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 6 members at least of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed in the today’s clashes, while at least 15 members of the organization were killed, raising, in turn, the number of the members of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the 10th of September, to at least 83 members one of whom has served as a field commander in Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, while it rose to at least 149, the number of members of the organization who were killed in these clashes, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of information about other casualties as well as the presence of injured cases in serious conditions.
