Aleppo city, its outskirts, and suburbs witness shelling and exchange of targeting with clashes between the regime forces and the factions

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the western section of Aleppo city witnessed the fall of shells, shelling, and clashes after midnight of yesterday, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a west of Aleppo, between the regime Forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling, the regime forces also shelled faction-controlled sites on the western outskirts of Aleppo, while several shells landed on places in Nile Street, its surroundings, and outskirts in the western section of the city which is under the control of the regime forces, but no information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday Sunday that several explosions were heard in Aleppo city, it turned out to be caused by the fall of several rocket shells after midnight of yesterday on areas of al-Mogambo, Nile Street, and Al-Andalus neighborhoods in Aleppo city -controlled by the regime forces- which injured several people and caused material damage, followed by targeting by the regime forces for areas on the outskirts of al-Leramoun and al-Zahra west of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 26th of September 2018 that explosions shook the western section of Aleppo city which is under the control of the regime forces after midnight of yesterday, caused by the fall of shells on places in Halab al-Jadidah neighborhood, but no information about casualty, after the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that a young man was hit by gunshot of a sniper in Al-Khalidiya area in Aleppo city, which injured him seriously, in the wake of exchange of shelling in areas in Aleppo city and its outskirts as well as other areas in its north-west, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that explosions rocked areas in the north-western countryside of Aleppo and other areas in Aleppo city and its western outskirts, caused by exchange of targeting between the regime forces and the factions, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the regime forces shelled areas in Kafr Hamra town north-west of the city, by a number of artillery and rocket shells, which caused material damage, and resulted in the death of a young man and the injury of 5 others with varying severity, while explosions rocked areas in Aleppo city, caused by the fall of shells on the controlled areas of the regime forces, in Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood at the western outskirts of Aleppo city, which caused material damage, followed by artillery shelling by the regime forces on the area of Al-Salat Al-Sina’iyyah (the Industrial Halls), but no information about injuries was reported.

It worth mentioning that the Syrian Observatory published on the 15th of June 2018, that 6 citizens (a doctor and 5 children under the age of eighteen) were killed as a result of the fall of at least one shell on the area of Teshreen Street in the city, where this is the first fall of civilian casualties due to targeting Aleppo city by shells, since the 8th of March 2018, the date of the fall of the last civilian casualty in targeting Aleppo city by shells.
