SDF detain ISIS members of different nationalities in conjunction with violent clashes in its last enclave east of Euphrates following the Iranian strikes that killed several members
Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the military operations of the International Coalition Forces and the Syria Democratic Forces continue within the last enclave controlled by the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the clashes at a violent pace between both parties, concentrated in places in the areas of al-Susah and al-Baghuz, accompanied by bombings by the Syria Democratic Forces and the allied forces; represented by shelling by the French Forces targets the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas, also the Syrian Observatory learned that Syria Democratic Forces were able during the continuous clashes to arrest at least 6 of the “Islamic State” Organization including a woman, and they include a Syrian, Asian, and Algerian nationality, also the continuous clashers accompanied by continuous shelling have left more casualties in the ranks of both parties.
The Syrian Observatory published last night that a number of reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the missile strikes that were carried out by the Iranian forces on areas at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River have left human losses, and in the details confirmed by the sources to the SOHR; the strikes which were carried out today dawn, Monday the 1st of October 2018, resulted in the death of 8 persons and the Syrian Observatory has not known yet whether they are all members of the organization or there are persons of the families of ISIS members among them, of those who were killed in the Iranian missile strikes, one of which has targeted a house that was seized earlier by the organization in Hajin area in ISIS last enclave east of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory published today morning, that it monitored that violent explosions shook on dawn of Monday, the 1st of October 2018, the enclave controlled by the “Islamic State” organization on the east banks of Euphrates river in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in front of the al-Bokamal area near the Syrian – Iraqi border, and the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that these explosions were caused from shelling carried out by the Iranian forces using ground-to-ground missiles that targeted headquarters sites of the “Islamic State” organization in Hajin area, which is mostly under the control of the Organization east of Deir Ezzor, and no information yet about the human casualties. This targeting is considered the first time in which the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas east of Euphrates in its last enclave are targeted by ground-to-ground missiles
While the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the violent clashes are continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in several areas within the last enclave left under the control of the organization at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, where the clashes are concentrated in the areas of Al-Baghuz and Al-Susah, in an ongoing attempt by the SDF to take the control of more positions and go deeper into the organization’s enclave in order to end its presence in the area, while the organization is seeking through its counterattacks to inflict the largest possible number of casualties in the ranks of the SDF, the Syrian Observatory monitored that 2 members of the SDF were killed as a result of aerial targeting by a drone in Al-Baghuz area east of the Euphrates, while 4 other members were injured in the same targeting which also caused material damage, where the targeting resulted in the damage of a vehicle of the Syria Democratic Forces.
