Tension and resentment increase in al-Suwaidaa city and all over the province along with holding the regime responsible for execution of the abductees and for their release

Al-Suwaidaa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: al-Suwaidaa city and its countryside are witnessing increased tension and resentment against the backdrop of the execution of a kidnapped female yesterday Tuesday, the 2nd of October 2018; of who were detained by the “Islamic State” organization, where a great dissatisfaction prevail among the people, holding the Syrian regime, its authorities, and negotiators the first and last responsibility for the fate of the abductees, and the Syrian Observatory published last night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of boiling and tension prevailing Al-Suwaidaa city, against the backdrop of the execution against one of the citizen women who are held hostages by the “Islamic State” organization, which was carried out today, Tuesday the 2nd of October 2018, and the intersected sources confirmed that the city witnessed a crowd along with gunfire, by citizens furious at the execution that claimed the life of the second abducted 2 months after a 19-year-old boy was executed, also another abducted woman died in mysterious circumstances, days after she was kidnapped by the organization, while the state of boiling is continuing amid ambiguity surrounds the fate of procedures that the people of Al-Suwaidaa province will take towards the regime’s silence and stall with regard to the release of the abductees whose number reaches about 30 children and women.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored that one of the abductees of Al-Suwaidaa countryside was executed, after she was kidnapped with about 30 other children and women, from the villages of the populated first line adjacent to the Syrian Desert, by the “Islamic State” organization on the 25th of July 2018, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the execution was carried out against the citizen, Thuraya Abu Ammar, by shooting at her head, within the first execution operation to be carried out against an abducted citizen woman, after another abducted woman died in mysterious circumstances, the abductees said in a video that she died due to “illness”, while the organization has carried out another execution on the 2nd of August 2018 against a 19-year-old boy from Al-Shabaki village, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the people of Al-Suwaidaa and the committees which are in charge of the file of the abductees, have received promises from the Russians and the regime, that the abductees will be set free in the next 48 hours, but instead they were surprised by the execution of one of the abductees, despite the release of 27 children and citizen women of the Bedouin clans in the province, the SOHR also monitored a wide-spread state of discontent due to executions that the residents feared of being carried out, as a result of the ongoing stall of the Syrian regime and the responsible parties in the case of abductees.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received on the 12th of September 2018, a copy of a video shows the kidnapped people of al-Suwaidaa who are about 30 children and citizen women, of whom a 19-year-old boy was executed in addition to the death of a woman in mysterious circumstances, and one of the abducted women said in the video: “We are the prisoners of the Islamic State, we are all fine and no one is harmed among us, but no one is working to release us, neither the regime nor Russia, and we wish that those who see this video work in our cause and release us as soon as possible.”, this video comes in the wake of failure of the continuous negotiations in reaching a solution that ends the tragedy of the abductees, and brings them to their families after they were abducted on the 25th of July 2018, also the SOHR monitored in late July 2018, that the organization threatened the regime through one of the kidnapped women from the villages in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, who appeared in a video broadcasted by ISIS, where Mrs. Souad Adib Abu Ammar in the video asked the Syrian regime president Bashar al-Assad and the media millionaire Kinanah Hwyja to carry out the terms of the “Islamic State” organization, and release prisoners and detainees belong to or connected to the organization, and stop the military operation in Yarmouk basin in the western countryside of Daraa, also in the video footage the woman warned that the organization will execute them if these conditions were not implemented.
