Clashes of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front enters its second day after claiming the lives of 9 civilians and fighters including a military commander and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham attack again with an alert in the area

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the outbreak of clashes for the second consecutive day in the western countryside of Aleppo Province, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the clashes erupt again between the National Liberation Front against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham since the morning of today, the 6th of October 2018, as a result of an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on a section of Miznaz village and on Kafr Noran area, which caused the eruption of clashes between it against the National Liberation Front after hours of calm, accompanied by shelling by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on areas in  Kafr Noran village, which caused physical damage and injured several citizens, and the clashes coincided with exchange of targeting between both parties which raised the number of casualties in their ranks.

So far, the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 3 fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham of who were killed in this fighting, while it rose to 3 including a military commander in the National Liberation Front, the number of its fighters who were killed during the first 24 hours of fighting, amid continuous state of alert and mobilization among both parties, in an attempt by each party to advance at the expense of the other, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3 citizens (two of them are girls of the same family) in the same fighting, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the tension escalated in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, along with a mobilization witnessed in the area by the National Liberation Front, where intersected sources confirmed that 3 columns of more than 40 vehicles carrying tens of members of the National Liberation Front, headed from Afrin and the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, to the western sector of Aleppo countryside, in order to confront Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham which has attacked since early morning, Friday the 5th of October 2018, the village of Kafr Halab in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the continued skirmishes and clashes in the areas of Tal’adah, , Tadil, and the area of Miznaz – Kafrnuran.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the scope of clashes expanded to include Taladah, Kafr Halab, Tadil, and the area of Kafr Halab – Miznaz – Kafrnuran, as a result of the escalated tension against the backdrop of the morning attack by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on Kafr Halab village, and the outbreak of fighting between it against the National Liberation Front, and the Syrian Observatory monitored that a statement was issued and intersected sources said that it was reached between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the civilian parties in the village, where the statement says:

“After subpoenas was issued against persons from Kafr Halab village most of whom are from Beit Assaf of those who involved in cases of thefts, kidnappings and smoking hashish and after broadcasting a video by the police proves their involvement and that they were not represented before the judiciary, a column was launched this dawn in order to arrest them where some of them were arrested while others escaped, and some of them took cover of citizens, which caused the outbreak of clashes resulted in the fall of wounded and casualties, and among the wounded there was a brother of the force who was captured by those persons and they refused to relief him, and at the request of our people in Kafr Halab we gathered with dignitaries and the Local Council in the village and agreed on the following terms: the handing over of the injured brother in return for letting the spoilers leave to Atarib city and never return to Kafr Halab, the release of every one who is proved that he is not claimed or wanted by a specific party, every one resisted the patrol is wanted and the dignitaries and the Local Council are pledged not to protect them and hand them over as much as possible, the spoilers must never return to Kafr Halab and in the case that they returned, they will be wanted by us and they are lawful targets”.

 The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the statement was signed by 3 representatives (Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Assaf family and the Local Council in Kafr Halab), but the SOHR simultaneously monitored that the National Liberation Front brought military reinforcements and heavy weapons to the area of Kafrnuran and Tqad, amid clashes between Tarir Al-Sham against the Front in the fronts of Kafrnuran and Tadil and Taladah area, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it learned that the clashes that took place in Kafr Halab village in the western countryside of Aleppo, have caused casualties among the villagers, where the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the clashes and gunfire killed 3 citizens including 2 girls from the same family and several other people were injured, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, as a result of the clashes that took place in the early hours of the morning in the village between Nour al-Dien al-Zenki  Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and lasted for hours leaving 3 casualties including a fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, against the backdrop of an attempt by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to arrest a person from the village on Friday, the 5th of October 2018, while tension prevails the area which is near the to-be-disarmed area in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement reached after a consensus between the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham has surrounded Kafr Halab village, and prevented moving to and from it, in an attempt to force the Movement to deliver the wanted and to bow to the conditions of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the Syrian Observatory received preliminary information about reaching a consensus that leads to the exit of fighters of Nour al-Dien al-Zenki Movement out of the village, while other sources confirmed that forces of the National Liberation Front who are on alert in the vicinity of the area; are trying to open a road to the village after it was surrounded by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and these clashes come in the shadow of the recent tensions between both parties, and these confrontations are considered the fifth of its kind in the last few days and the most violent since the tension in Darat Azza, and the Syrian Observatory published on the evening of Wednesday, the 3rd of October 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new sate of tension between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the National Liberation Front in Idlib province, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; Zardana village which is located in the northern countryside of Idlib, is witnessing a sate of tension between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand, and Jaysh Al-Ahrah which operates under the banner of the National Liberation Front on the other, where sources informed the SOHR that the reason for the tension is the fact that Jaysh Al-Ahrar tried to arrest one of the wanted people in the village but the members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham prevented it, then each faction brought reinforcements, while one of the checkpoints of Tahrir Al-Sham near Zardana opened fire on a vehicle of Jaysh Al-Ahrar while it was passing through the checkpoint, which resulted in the injury of 2 members of Jaysh Al-Ahrar, and information about the death of one of them, while the tension is still prevailing the area, in the wake of getting the tension and disagreements between the both parties aggravated in the area in the past few days, where the Syrian Observatory publish on Monday, that tension prevails the southern countryside of Idlib between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front, where the Syrian Observatory monitored heavy machinegun targeting took place after midnight of yesterday, between a checkpoints of the National Liberation Front and a checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in al-Hbit – Kafer Ayn area in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no information about casualties yet, these checkpoint have witnessed mobilization and the entry of reinforcements during the previous days, and this tension comes in the shadow of the recent tensions in the area since last Wednesday, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 29th of September 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of tension in areas in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, between Suqour Al-Sham faction which operates under the banner of the National Liberation Front on one hand, and between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the other, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; each faction has sat up checkpoints of it in the areas of Ghadqa, Al-Haraki and Jarjnaz in the east of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, and the tension comes against the backdrop of several issues between the both parties including exchange of accusations of harassing members of each faction as well as the assault that took place in Tell Mannas last Friday during a demonstration in the town.

And a similar tension witnessed in Darat Izza town in the western countryside of Aleppo on Wednesday the 26th of September 2018, where the Syrian Observatory published at that time, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Darat Azza town in the western countryside of Aleppo, has been witnessing cautious calm during the past hours, after the tension that took place yesterday evening between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front, where negotiations and consultations took place through elders and mediators to resolve the dispute, and the Syrian Observatory published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of tension during today’s evening, Wednesday the 26th of September 2018, intersected sources confirmed that it came as a result of exchange of arrests between the National Liberation Front and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, where sources confirmed that one of the members of Tahrir Al-Sham was arrested after he was monitored via the cameras while he was planting an IED, followed by arrests by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against members of the National Liberation Front, which followed by military mobilizations and a state of alertness which prevailed the area in the western countryside of Aleppo province, amid attempts by mediators to decrease the pace of tension in the area, which is accompanied by fears of the residents of the eruption of internal fighting between the National Liberation Front and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the SOHR also monitored that these mobilizations are coincided with an assassination which targeted a commander in Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and his escort by shooting them by unidentified gunmen.
