An assassination attempt targets a commander in the National Front in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside after assassinations killed 346 civilians, fighters, and leaders of different nationalities

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: security chaos still tops the scene in Idlib Province and the surrounding countryside, which are controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions and the “jihadi” groups, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of an IED on Wednesday morning, the 10th of October 2018, in a car of a commander in the National Liberation Front in Saraqib town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, which wounded him severely, also unknown gunmen abducted 2 men yesterday night from Jarjanaz town in in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and their fate remains unknown until now, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that unidentified gunmen have assassinated a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, after shooting him in the countryside of Idlib province, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; unidentified gunmen shot a security commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham of an Arab nationality, within the southern countryside of Idlib province, which caused his death, raising to at least 346, the number of persons who were assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside since the 26th of April 2018, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 67 civilians including 11 children and 6 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 239 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 38 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, that it monitored that the body of a young man was found dumped in the area of Sahel al-Rouj in the western countryside of Idlib, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the body was found near the fishery of Irra Al-Wosta with marks of torture on it, after the contact with this person was lost previously, the SOHR also monitored assassination carried out by unidentified gunmen in the same countryside, where a security person in Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was assassinated near Darkush on the road to Azmareen area, which caused his death while the gunmen managed to escape, the Syrian Observatory also monitored a raid by Hayyaat Tarhir Al-Sham on Halubah village in Kafr Oweid, in order to arrest a former commander in Jabhat Thowwar Syria, where an attempt was made to prevent Tahrir Al-Sham from arresting him, which pushed the members of the patrol to open fire which incurred a citizen woman, while locals confirmed that citizen women were beaten while storming the place where this commander is located, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 2 days ago, that this security chaos is coincided with the rise of the number of casualties who were killed due to the ongoing attacks by the ISIS cells against the factions operating in Idlib and the Syrian North, who were killed in 2 attacks one of which was carried out by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on a headquarter of them in Maarrat Misrin, and the other was an attack by the cells of the organization on an Islamic faction in Taliha area in the past 48 hours, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the number of casualties of the organization and the cells rose to 93 members of ISIS and its cells who have been killed since the end of April 2018, of Syrian, Iraqi, and other non-Syrian nationalities, including at least 41 where executed by slaughtering them or directly shooting them, while the rest were killed during raids and exchange of gunfire between these cells and members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the areas of Salqin, Sarmin, Sahel al-Rouj and several other areas in the countryside of Idlib, the last of which was what the SOHR monitored on the 20th of September 2018, where Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham executed 5 persons, sources confirmed that they were executed Al-Zirbah area in the southern countryside of Aleppo, on charge of “belonging to cells of the Islamic State organization”, and members of Tahrir Al-Sham shot them, after they were arrested previously within the campaign of arrests which targeted tens of persons on charge of these accusations, and which sometimes witnessed violent clashes between members of these cells and members of Tahrir Al-Sham, as well as the executions that used to be carried out directly, or through mass targeting to positions and headquarters of these cells, and this is the first execution to be carried out within the Russian – Turkish demilitarized area, which was specified within the Russian – Turkish agreement that recently reached.
