The “jihadis” continue to be present in the disarmament zone and cautious anticipation prevails the area about 8 hours before the eve of the pullout’s deadline

Cautious anticipations escalate for the situation’s developments in the demilitarized zone, stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city passing through both Hama and Idlib, in which only 8 hours remaining before the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave the buffer zone, according to the agreement reached between Turkey and Russia, after the meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Receb Tayyip Erdogan, where it provided on setting up the buffer area and the heavy weapons disarmament, where the Syrian Observatory have not monitored yet any movements within the demilitarized area, by the “jihadist” factions, which are in control of about 70% of the buffer area, amid tension prevailing the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce for fear of targeting the demilitarized area deliberately by the regime and the Russian under the pretext of the “jihadis’ non withdrawal” from it.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that cautious calm returned again to prevail the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce in the 4 provinces (Aleppo, Idlib, Hama and Lattakia), interrupted by renewed fall of shells fired by the regime forces on areas in Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, within the supposed buffer area, where these incidents are coincided with approaching the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave the demilitarized zone tomorrow, Monday, in the light of absence of any declared withdrawals monitored in the area so far,  after the Syrian Observatory published this morning, that after cautious calm prevailed since the sunset of yesterday, the regime forces and the factions returned to breach the Russian – Turkish truce in the demilitarized zone, in conjunction with less than 24 hours left before the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave the demilitarized zone, despite the disarmament of heavy weapons by the factions and the Russian promises to guarantee the regime and their heavy weapons in the demilitarized zone agreed upon between Russia and Turkey, but the area witnessed in the past 24 hours successive fall of shells that targeted several places of it, in several rounds, where the Syrian Observatory monitored, after the midnight of Saturday – Monday, the regime forces targeting by several artillery shells, areas in al-Bana village in the northern countryside of Hama, along with opening fire of heavy machineguns by the regime forces, on areas in Al-Jisat in the same countryside, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored last night, exchange of targeting by machineguns between the factions against the regime forces, in areas in Sahl Al-Ghab near Jurin area in the north-western countryside of Hama, the regime forces also fired several mortar shells this morning, on areas in the agricultural lands of Al-Lataminah town and M’aarkaba village in the northern countryside of Hama, which caused material damage, also 11 shells fell on several neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its outskirts, which are Al-Shahba’, Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa, Nile Street and Halab al-Jadidah, which caused material damage, without information about injuries.
