After killing more than 35 of its members in hours…ISIS attacks the SDF in the east of the Euphrates

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor are witnessing continued violent clashes between the members of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, where the clashes are concentrated within ISIS last remaining enclave in the east of the Euphrates River, with exchange of counterattacks in the past few hours in an attempt by the organization to recover the areas it lost along 5 km in the past 48 hours from the front of Al-Baghuz to the front of Hajin, while the SDF try to maintain the areas they advanced into under a cover of intensive and violent aerial bombardment by the International Coalition’s warplanes, also the Coalition’s warplanes are continuing to target the controlled areas of the organization every now and then, amid information about the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that ISIS last enclave at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, has been witnessing escalated intensive bombardment since Thursday after the midnight, where the International Coalition’s warplanes do not almost leave the airspace of the area in conjunction with violent and continued strikes on the positions of the organization in the last enclave it controls, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the Coalition’s warplanes targeted and destroyed more than 6 vehicles of the organization in the area, while the violent clashes are still continuing in areas in this enclave between the members of the organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, along with the continued attacks by the latter in order to clamp down on the organization even more to end its presence in the area, where the SOHR monitored new advancements by SDF under a cover of the intensive and violent shelling by the International Coalition, represented by a depth of 5 km at least since Thursday in Al-Baghuz area towards Hajin town, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned that the SDF managed to capture 2 members of the organization while they were trying to escape, as citizens, out of the controlled areas of the organization east of the Euphrates.

The Syrian Observatory has documented more human losses in the ranks of the both parties during the shelling, targeting and clashes escalation since Thursday, where 43 members of the organization were killed they are: 8 members who were killed on Thursday and Friday, and 35 members were killed after the midnight of Friday – Saturday, they are 28 members who were killed by the International Coalition’s warplanes through targeting vehicles and positions of the organization, while the rest 7 members were killed during the clashes against SDF, while 18 members of the SDF have been killed in the targeting and clashes against the organization since Thursday, thus it rose to 414, the number of ISIS members who were killed in the ongoing clashes and the Coalition’s strikes, while 227 members at least have been killed of the Syria Democratic Forces since the start of military operations on the 10th of September 2018, one of whom has served as a field commander in Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces.

And the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it documented more casualties in the massacre that was carried out by the International Coalition warplanes on Friday, the 19th of October 2018, when they targeted al-Susah town in the enclave that is under the control of the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates River, the rise in death toll came after pulling more bodies from under the rubble and the death of injured people, where it rose to 34, the number of people who were killed in the massacre, they are: 23 civilian casualties including 3 children at least, in addition to 11 members of the “Islamic State” Organization, whose nationalities and positions were not known until the moment, raising to 58, the number of people who were killed in 2 massacres carried out by the International Coalition warplanes by targeting al-Susah town in two consecutive days: Thursday and Friday, and they are: 41 civilian casualties Including 10 children and at least 4 citizen women, the majority of them were killed in Thursday’s massacre of Iraqi nationality, and 17 people of the “Islamic State” Organization were killed in the massacres of the International Coalition, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and because there are trapped people under the rubble.
