The exchange of artillery shelling between the regime and the factions south of Idlib and north of Hama continues and breaks the truce again

Violations of the Russian – Turkish truce continue and increase in the four provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and Latakia, amid turning-a blind-eye by its guarantors, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an exchange of shelling between the Islamic factions operating in the southeast of Idlib and between the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, where the Islamic factions targeted positions of the regime forces in the areas of Ma’an and Tal Bazam in the northeastern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with continued targeting by the regime forces for areas in the vicinity of al-Taman’aa town in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, the vicinity of Morek town north of Hama, and Atshan village in the northeastern countryside of Hama, but no information about casualties until now, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more violations within areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and the demilitarized area after midnight of yesterday, where the regime forces shelled places in the agricultural lands of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, while one of the factions targeted by several rocket shells places in al-Sifsafiyeh village, which is under the control of the regime forces at the northwestern countryside of Hama, but no information about casualties, where the sources suggested that an Islamic army had targeted the village.

And the Syrian Observatory published last night, Friday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored artillery shelling by the regime forces on areas in Al-Khwaiyn town, in the south-eastern sector of Idlib countryside, also shells fell on areas in Nile Street in the western sector of Aleppo city, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while the factions operating within the “Wa Harrid Al-Mo’minun” Operation Room, which is composed of Hurras al-Dien Organization, Ansar Al-Dien Front, Ansar al-Tawhid and Ansar Al-Islam Group, in the west of Aleppo, targeted a position of the regime forces in the outskirts of Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood, west of Aleppo city amid information about the fall of human losses in the ranks of the regime forces, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored shelling by the regime forces on areas in the villages of Umm Jalal and Raffa in the south-eastern sector of Idlib countryside, also, the western outskirts of Aleppo city, witnessed crossfire by using machineguns between the regime forces and the factions operating in the area, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the shelling resulted in the death of 7 citizens at least including 3 children and 3 women, as a result of the shelling which targeted Raffa village, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, and this is the biggest massacre with the largest death toll by regime’s shelling since the start of implementing the Turkish – Russian truce on the 15th of August 2018.

And the SOHR also monitored yesterday afternoon, that the regime forces renewed their violations to the Turkish – Russian truce, where the regime forces targeted areas in the lands around Murak town, which is located within the northern sector of Hama countryside along with shelling which targeted Atshan area in the north-east of Hama, the regime forces also targeted places in Sukayk area and the outskirts of Al-Taman’aa town in the southern countryside of Idlib province, without information about casualties, and this targeting to the demilitarized zone in both Hama and Idlib, comes after the cautious calm that continued in areas of the Russian – Turkish truce without any violations of shelling or targeting since the sunset of yesterday, Thursday, with the exception of the targeting by a jihadi faction by its snipers to members of the regime forces ion Jabal al-Akrad at the northern countryside of Latakia, and in the same context, the Turkish intelligence services still fail to persuade the “jihadi” groups and factions to withdraw from their positions and points within the buffer area.
