The Turkish forces carry out its first targeting operation to the Syrian North within the east of the Euphrates after the decision of suspending the SDF’s military operation against the organization
Al-Raqqah Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored new targeting by the Turkish forces within the 4th round of targeting operations to the Syrian North, within the areas of the east of the Euphrates, and the evening of today the 31st of October 2018, witnessed targeting by the Turkish forces by machineguns, to the outskirts of Tal Abyad, in conjunction with targeting 4 villages in its countryside which are: Yabseh, Tel Finder Susik and Saleeb Qran, without information about injuries so far, and this 4th targeting operation by the Turkish forces to the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces, comes after the number of fighters of the Self-Defense Forces who were killed, increased to 4 fighters at least, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, and this is the first Turkish targeting after the start of the temporary suspension of the “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation against the “Islamic State” organization on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River.
The Syrian Observatory published on the noon of today, Wednesday, that it monitored a new targeting operation to Ashmeh village in the western sector of the countryside of Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani), after targeting to Kor Ali and Salim in the same sector of the city’s countryside, near the Syrian – Turkish border, in the east of the Euphrates River, and the shelling resulted in the injury of several persons including fighters, where these targeting operations come as an implementation of the Turkish threats of carrying out a military operation in the east of the Euphrates River, the SOHR also obtained information from a number of reliable sources, confirmed that the Turkish forces insinuated to the forces of both operations of the “Olive Branch” and the “Euphrates Shield”, operating in Afrin area and both northern and north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, to register the names of the fighters and factions that want to join the ground operation in the east of the Euphrates, with the aim of fighting the Syria Democratic Forces which are in control of the entire area of the Euphrates’ east with the exception of several villages near Deir Ezzor city, and ISIS last enclave, and no information has been received so far about whether Turkey has sent in an undeclared manner, letters of requests to the displaced factions coming from the Syrian South, the capital of Damascus and its vicinity, and from both northern and southern countryside of Homs and Hama, in order to participate in the military operation that Turkey intends to carry out and which it initiated by ground shelling on both countryside of Al-Raqqah and Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani).
The Syrian Observatory published last night Tuesday, the 30th of October 2018, that it monitored gunfire by the Turkish forces by heavy machineguns, targeting an area near the border gate, in the countryside of Tal Abyad city in the northern sector of Al-Raqqah countryside, which resulted in killing a fighter of Self-Defense Forces of the Syria Democratic Forces as well as injuring another one seriously, thus, it becomes the second targeting by the Turkish forces in about 48 hours, since Sunday the 28th of October 2018, after the first targeting to villages in the western countryside of Ayn Al-Arab city (Kobani), which also claimed the life of a fighter of Self-Defense Forces, and intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the targeting by the Turkish forces, comes after the Turkish authorities and intelligence failed in creating a clannish sedition in Al-Raqqah countryside, one of their attempts was represented by the try of 8 persons of Al-Hanadi Clan, to create a sedition between this clan and between Al-Boassaf Clan, through kidnapping one of the members of the latter clan, beating and insulting him, in the name of “Al-Hanadi Clan”, in Al-Buz area in Tal Abyad countryside, then the Kurdish Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested and investigated them, where reliable sources confirmed that they confessed that they were propelled by Turkey to create a clannish sedition, in an attempt to create a state of disorder in the area, along with the Turkish preparations for a military operation against the area of the east of the Euphrates, which is controlled by the SDF, and the video that shows the young men torturing the man of Al-Boassaf Clan who they kidnapped, became widespread, but the intervene of nobles and dignitaries as well as the Kurdish Internal Security Forces between the both clans, clarified the points of view between them, and prevented a clannish fighting that the members of the sleeper cells aimed to ignite between the clans.
The Syrian Observatory published on Sunday that a fighter of the Self-Defense Forces of the Syria Democratic Forces, was killed as a result of shelling by the Turkish forces on Zor Maghar area in the countryside of Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani), today Sunday the 28th of October 2018, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored sounds of explosions heard in the western countryside of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo east of Euphrates River, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Turkish forces targeted the villages of Kharbata Atto, Jareqli, and Zor Magar, which is the first shelling that targets this area after the renewed Turkish threats; about a military operation that target areas controlled by YPG and SDF east of Euphrates River, also these artillery strikes by the Turkish forces come after a previous shelling targeted the area, where a state of alert prevails the area among YPG ranks, which is the main stay of the Syria Democratic Forces.
