“Jihadis” of the demilitarized area attack the regime forces and kill several of them on the first day of the second month for the expiration of the date of their leave
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes on Friday morning, 16th of November, within the demilitarized area in the northwestern countryside of Hama, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against “jihadi” factions in “Wa Harred al-Mu’minin”, which includes Ansar al-Islam, Ansar al-Din, Ansar al-Tawhid, and Hurras al-Dien, where the “jihadis” attacked the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them this morning, in the areas of Foro and al-Sermaniyyeh in Sahl al-Ghab after an infiltration operation, after which violent clashes broke out and lasted about two hours, accompanied by shelling and intensive targeting, which killed and injured several of them, while the regime forces continue the shelling on places controlled by these factions in Sahl al-Ghab after the end of the attack, and it is noteworthy that the “jihadi” factions that attacked today have brought military reinforcements and new fighters days ago to the area, while the Syrian Observatory published Thursday evening that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, Thursday the 15th of November 2018, the outbreak of violent clashes in the areas of Zilaqiat and Zellin in the northern countryside of Hama within the Demilitarized zone, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the fighters of factions operating in this area, accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling between the both parties, without information so far about human losses, while the regime forces are continuing their heavy rocket shelling on Hama countryside, targeting areas in the towns and villages of Al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, Al-Sakhr, Al-Jisat, Al-Zakah, M’aarkaba, Murak and Hasaraya, while targeting operations are continuing between the jihadist factions against the regime forces in the contact areas in the northern countryside of Latakia, as a part of the ongoing violations to Erdogan – Putin truce supposed to be applied in areas of Hama, Aleppo, Idlib and Latakia, and the Syrian Observatory published today, that few hours of clam prevailed within areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and the demilitarized area, before the regime renewed this morning, Thursday, the 15th of November 2018, after calm prevailed since after midnight of yesterday until morning, where the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket shelling by the regime forces this morning targeted areas in the vicinity of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, accompanied by targeting using heavy machineguns for places on the outskirts of Morek town north of Hama.
