The death of more ISIS members east of Euphrates clash raises its toll to more than 800 since the start of the military operations in September

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that clashes continue in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside at the east bank of Euphrates River, between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored airstrikes carried out by warplanes of the International Coalition sporadically, targeted locations in Hajin town and areas in the ISIS-controlled enclave, amid shelling by the regime forces targeted the area, and information about dropping a small drone by the organization which was flying over the area, in conjunction with clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against members of the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the town and its surroundings, within the attempts of each party to advance at the expense of the other, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the harsh weather conditions increased the violence of the clashes, after attempts by the Organization to exploit it again and carry out a counterattack with the aim of progressing, reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that at least 14 of the organization’s fighters were killed while 5 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed in the same clashes, also the clashes wounded more people.

Raises to 807, the number of fighters of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids within the enclave of the organization since the 10th  of September 2018, also it rose to about 469, the number members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed since the 10th of September 2018, also, the Syrian Observatory documented that it rose to 307 including 106 children and 69 citizen women (including 160 Syrian citizens including 69 children and 40 women of Syrian nationality), thus, which increased the number of people who were killed according to the 3 stages of the Coalition bombing, which was divided by the Syrian Observatory to 3 phases, the first of which is the first month of the military operation in which the Syria Democratic Forces and the Coalition advanced in the last enclave of the organization and controlled al-Baghuz, al-Susah, al-Shajla and parts of Hajin and the advanced in other outskirts and areas of the enclave, where Coalition airstrikes killed at least 5 Syrian civilians, and this first phase was from the 10th of September to the 10th of October 2018, while the second phase was from the 10th of October to the 28th of the same month, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 47 civilians including 14 children and 7 women, including 15 Syrians including 8 children and 3 women, they were killed in airstrikes by the International Coalition warplanes which targeted at least 4 mosques, a Koranic school, and civilian homes, while the third stage represented by shelling by the International Coalition and killed 255 civilians including 92 children and 62 women, including 150 Syrian citizens including 61 children and 37 women, in several areas under the control of the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern bank of Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that military reinforcements of equipment, ammunition, and vehicle have reached the Syria Democratic Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: modern weapons, military and logistic equipment have reached the vicinity of the “Islamic State” Organization at the eastern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the exit of these equipment and weapons from the bases of the International Coalition in Ein Issa and Ayn al-Arab (Kobani); and they arrived in the front of the Syria Democratic Forces with the last pocket of the Organization east of Euphrates River, within preparations by the Syria Democratic Forces, Jaysh al-Thowwar, Jabhat al-Akrad Brigade, and al-Sh’aytat clan fighters, to end the presence of the Organization in the area by a military operation supported by the International Coalition, reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that Sh’aytat clan had returned to the contact lines with the outskirts of ISIS enclave.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored  clashes between members of the “Islamic State” Organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, on the outskirts of Hajin town and other areas of the outskirts of ISIS enclave, the trusted sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the attack caused SDF fighters to retreat from the front lines, and the clashes coincided with exchange of targeting in the clash areas and information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that  a cautious calm prevails the contact areas within the last enclave of the “Islamic State” Organization in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after an infiltration attempt by members of the Organization yesterday evening, Sunday, in the area between Hajin and al-Bahra, where exchange of Shooting and targeting took place using heavy and medium machineguns, with members of Sh’aytat of the Syria Democratic Forces who are positioned in there, this cautious calm at the contact areas is accompanied with renewed rocket shelling carried out by the Syria Democratic Forces every now and then, targeting areas of the “Islamic State” organization in its last enclave on the east bank of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory published in the past hours that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored crossfire and renewed exchange of targeting with machineguns in Hajin area in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization, along with renewed rocket shelling by the SDF on the organization’s positions and controlled areas within the last enclave left under its control at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, without information so far about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the “Islamic State” Organization for the first time targeting directly al-Tank oilfield by several rocket shells, which landed about 50 meters away of the field at 2 pm today, on the 2nd of December 2018, this targeting coincided with drilling a trench by the Syria Democratic Forces in the vicinity of al-Tank Oilfield, and the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that they completed about 300 meters of the trench, which is expected to end in the next 24 hours, to prevent the Organization from reaching the oilfield in future attacks, where this oilfield contains a military base of the Syria Democratic Forces and military advisers from the International Coalition, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the fog lasted for several hours today amid bad weather conditions, coincided with artillery shelling by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces, followed by aerial bombardment by the International Coalition on the area.

The Syrian Observatory monitored as the fog was forming; an attack by the “Islamic State” Organization for the first time on sites for the new forces that arrived from Jaysh al-Thowwar of the Syria Democratic Forces, where violent clashes took place between both parties, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 30th of November 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the arrival of more than 15000 fighters in the last eight days of the Syria Democratic Forces, Jaysh al-Thowwar, Jabhat al-Akrad Brigade, Shams al-Shamal Battalion, YPG, Women Protection Units, and the self-defense forces, where most of the forces were brought from YPG forces from the areas of al-Shaddadi, al-Hool, al-Qameshly, al-Hasakah, Ras al-Ayn, and other areas al-Hasaka province, also the number of fighters of the Special Forces in YPG and the fighters coming from al-Hasaka province and Women Protection Units forces reached to about 5000 fighters, where these forces are waiting to be deployed along the perimeter of ISIS enclave and its outskirts and in the desert near it, waiting for a signal to start the ground military operation that the International Coalition has been preparing for to lead and participate in, especially through the aerial targeting, surveillance of the organization’s movements and targeting its positions.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a new shipment of weapons and military equipment to the eastern Euphrates area coming from the Kurdistan area of Iraq, where tens of trucks were seen carrying equipment into the area, and the Syrian Observatory was able to monitor and record them in a video, where the convoy included 75 trucks including 30 trucks loaded with American Hummer vehicles, and 20 trucks loaded with Jeep cars, 5 trucks loaded with petrol tanks and 5 other trucks loaded with SUVs and other cars, but the last 15 trucks were closed and it is not known what they were carrying, and this equipment -which arrived in the east of Euphrates during the hours of last night- comes in conjunction with the establishment of a US base in the area between Sluk and Tal Abyad in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah, and in conjunction with preparations in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside; to begin a military operation to end the existence of the “Islamic State” organization in the entire area, through controlling ISIS enclave extending from Hajin town and along the east bank of Euphrates river until the Syrian-Iraqi border.
