Active cells in the east of the Euphrates escalate their operations in SDF-held areas through targeting more figures and members

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that unidentified gunmen targeted a vehicle carrying one of the member of Deir Ezzor Civil Council, operating within the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces east of the Euphrates, where the Syrian Observatory learned that the targeting resulted in the injury of several members who were in the vehicle, in the area of Swidan Jazira in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, amid information about the death of one of them affected by the injury he had, in the wake of the continued security chaos within these areas and the attempts to escalate them by active cells in the area most of which are connected to the “Islamic State” organization, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today morning, Thursday, that it monitored that unidentified gunmen attacked a house in al-Sa’wa village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the gunmen were wearing the dress of the Syria Democratic Forces, and that they stormed a house of a man works in jewelry and stole about 4.5 million SYP, in addition to identification papers, and the Syrian Observatory published last Monday, that gunmen robbed money exchange shop in Jazrat al-Bohmid and stole $20000 USD and a laptop, also the Syrian Observatory published last week that 2 offices in al-Jazrah area and al-Sa’wa area were robbed by gunmen wearing the dress of the Syria Democratic Forces.

And the Syrian Observatory publish this morning that the Syrian Observatory for human rights monitored the security forces and the Syria Democratic Forces on dawn of Thursday, the 6th of December 2018, where the raids targeted several youths in al-Zerr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor which is controlled by SDF, where they were arrest on charge of “searching for sleeper cells” responsible for assassinations and bombings in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the local sources of the Syrian Observatory confirmed that SDF arrested 6 young men from the village, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday night that  the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more security incidents in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, in the east of the Euphrates River, where the SOHR monitored that unidentified gunmen believed to be members of cells belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, slaughtered a member of the regime forces, where he was in a visit to his relatives in the Eastern Jerthi village which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, while unidentified gunmen threw a grenade on the house of a member of the SDF, in Al-Zar village, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while an IED exploded at the area of Jisr Al-Busayrah in the same countryside, without information about casualties.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 30th of November 2018, that the Syria Democratic Forces carried out raids and arrests within al-Hawayej village under their control in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, and sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that the these raids targeted former fighters of the “Islamic State” organization who carried out “reconciliation” with SDF, where they having been taken to an unknown destination until the moment, and no information about the reasons for the raids until now.
