Jihadist rebels to execute Syrian journalist for ‘giving coordinates’ to Israel, US Coalition

The jihadist rebel group “Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham” is preparing to execute a Syrian journalist for allegedly giving coordinates to enemy forces in the Idlib province.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham has decided to execute the journalist Amjad Al-Maleh on the charges of providing coordinates of Hezbollah and Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) positions to Israel and the U.S. Coalition.

The Syrian journalist was first arrested by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham on December 10th, 2017; he has since spent an entire year inside a Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham prison.

The SOHR report said that Al-Maleh is expected to be executed by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in the next two weeks.
