SDF control large parts of ISIS stronghold in its enclave east of Euphrates, ISIS withdraws toward the eastern outskirts of Hajin

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the “Islamic State” organization withdrew towards the eastern outskirts of Hajin town in the eastern of Deir Ezzor countryside, where there its existence there is limited to the eastern areas of the town and in tunnels in it, and this withdraw operation come after the Syria Democratic Forces managed during the past 48 hours to break the defensive lines of the organization inside Hajin and advanced greatly in it, after they imposed their control over Hajin Hospital, other 2 hospitals, the market area, and other areas in the town, where the violent resistance and disparate fighting by members of the “Islamic State” Organization yesterday, Wednesday, -where ISIS detonated at least 5 booby-trapped vehicles- didn’t prevent Syria Democratic Forces from continuing their advancement deep in Hajin town and controlling important positions in it, which forced ISIS members to retreat to the eastern outskirts of the town, where the Syria Democratic Forces controlled large parts of Hajin town; the most prominent stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization within its last enclave at the east bank of Euphrates River, and they are expected to control the whole town, unless the Organization carry out counterattacks that enable it to regain strategic points it lost yesterday.

The Syrian Observatory documented more casualties during the military operations, where it rose to Thus, it rose to 911, the number of fighters of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids within the enclave of the organization since the 10th  of September 2018, also it rose to about 531, the number members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed since the 10th of September 2018, also, the Syrian Observatory documented that it rose to 324 including 113 children and 72 citizen women (including 180 Syrian citizens including 76 children and 43 women of Syrian nationality).

While the Syrian Observatory documented significant casualties during this third month, which caused the killing of 196 civilians including 73 children and 53 women, including 100 Syrian citizens including 42 children and 28 women, in several areas under the control of the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern bank of Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of 257 members of the “Islamic State” Organization since the 10th of November to 10 December 2018, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 172 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces during the same period.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the Syria Democratic Forces managed to achieve a great advancement within Hajin town in the eastern sector of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which was controlled by the Organization within its last enclave east of Euphrates, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: Hajin town witnessed a collapse in the ranks of the Organization’s members, who were forced under the pressure of the attack of the Syria Democratic Forces to go back in the town, until the Syria Democratic Forces controlled the market area and al-Bukhatir area, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the process of controlling the market might force the organization to withdraw from the entire town, if ISIS did not carry out a counterattack in the next couple of hours to retake the area, as the rest of the remaining areas that are under ISIS control in Hajin, will be exposed in front of warplanes of the International Coalition and snipers of Syria Democratic Forces, who seek to end the presence of the “Islamic State” organization from the east of Euphrates area completely.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the escalation of clashes in places in Hajin town and its outskirts in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” Organization, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Syria Democratic Forces with intense air and missile cover managed to achieve more advancement in the depth of Hajin town within the last ISIS enclave at the east bank of Euphrates River, where the Syria Democratic Forces advanced and controlled the market area starting from Nabd al-Hayat Hospital, where the market area which has been controlled is considered an area crowded with residential buildings, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the violent clashes are still taking place between the “Islamic State” Organization against the Syria Democratic Forces, in areas in Hajin town and other areas within the Organization’s enclave at the eastern sector Deir Ezzor countryside, in continuous attacks by the Syria Democratic Forces to control more sites and points and to go deep even more in the Organization’s enclave, where clashes are taking place accompanied by continued flight of the International Coalition warplanes over the area, in conjunction with targeting sites of “Islamic State” Organization and places controlled by it every now and then, in addition to operations of rocket shelling by tanks and cannons of the Syria Democratic Forces, while the land advancement of SDF is still slow because of the excessive amount of mines planted by the Organization there, also because the areas are overcrowded with residential buildings, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Syria Democratic Forces brought more reinforcements, where they brought more than 20 tanks to the clash fronts in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
