Despite the alert of the Turkey-supported “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” Operation, a bombing hits the middle of Afrin city causes casualties

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory monitored violent explosion in Afrin city at the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, which is controlled by the Turkish Forces and factions of “Olive Branch” Operation, caused by detonating an IED in a motorcycle in the Raju Road area near Nowruz roundabout, which caused material damage and injured several people, some of them are in critical situations, and information about the death of 2 of them, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of December 2018 that an IED detonated in a car at the outskirts of al-Ghazawiyah town in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where 2 persons were killed and several others were injured.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored alerts on the security and military checkpoints of what is known as the “military police” and the factions of “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield” Operations, within their controlled areas in Aleppo countryside, in a new attempt by them to “control security” at a time where Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch areas are witnessing growing security chaos on a daily basis, through bombings, assassinations, targeting, theft, looting, and kidnapping etc., the most recent of which was what happened in areas of Euphrates Shield yesterday, Wednesday, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of security events caused by the security chaos in areas controlled by factions backed by the Turkish Forces in the countryside of Aleppo Province, where the Syrian Observatory monitored targeting by unidentified gunmen with several shots for 3 people in al-Bab city, which is located in the northeastern countryside to Aleppo, killing at least 2 of them and injuring the third one seriously, which may raise the death toll, and this targeting comes within the series of events that have been taking place in the countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored 2 violent explosions at least in al-Bab city in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, one was caused by detonating a vehicle believed to be a booby-trapped motorcycle near al-Kabir Mosque in al-Bab city, which is controlled by forces of “Euphrates Shield” which is led by Turkey and includes factions loyal and close to Turkey, the explosive killed a person and injured 7 others with varying degrees of severity, raising to 2, the number of people killed in the bombings that hit today the northern and northeastern countryside of Aleppo, while it rose to 33, the number of people who were injured with varying degrees of severity in Azaz, al-Rai, and al-Bab, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and the Syrian Observatory monitored today 5 explosion took place in the countryside of Aleppo in areas controlled by faction close to Turkey and operate under its command, one of them in Azaz by a car bomb attack, another in al-Rai by a motorcycle bomb, and 2 in in al-Bab one of them by a booby-trapped motorcycle, and the last one was in Dabiq, but it is not known whether it was caused by an IED.

The SOHR published on the 8th of December 2018, that it monitored the sound of an explosion in Afrin countryside, in the north-western sector of Aleppo countryside, caused by an IED explosion in a vehicle of a security commander in a Division close to Turkey, on Afrin – Sheik Roz Road, which resulted in the injury members of the commander’s family including children and citizen women in addition to information about the death of a man was with them, and he is one of the relatives of the commander, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday, that 2 explosions were heard in the countryside of Afrin area, in the north-western sector of Aleppo countryside, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from intersected source, that the first explosion was caused by an IED explosion near the headquarters of an Islamic faction close to Turkey, which injured several persons, while a second IED exploded in a vehicle on Rajo – Afrin Road, which injured a number of fighters of one of the factions operating under the banner of Operation “Olive Branch”, amid information about the death of at least 2 fighters of them, and the Syrian Observatory published about 48 hours ago, that it monitored an explosion in Jandairis town in the southern countryside of Afrin, intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the explosion was caused by a car explosion at the headquarters of the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham in the town, which injured at least 7 members and information about the deaths of fighters.

While reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that 2 fighters were killed and injured in the exchange of targeting and clashes in Deir Meshmesh area in the countryside of Afrin, between factions and cells believed to be of the Kurdish units, and the Syrian Observatory published 2 days ago that  a group of the YPG in Bulbula Township in Afrin countryside which is under the control of the factions of “Olive Branch” in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, where another group of the YPG attacked posts of factions close to Turkey in Hayamili village in Bulbula Township, led to the outbreak of clashes between the both parties, which left casualties in the ranks of the factions, before the attacking group withdrew.
