Shelling on a mosque in Al-Bokhater area kills 17 persons of ISIS members and their families along with the continued battles between the SDF against the organization on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued violent clashes within the enclave of the “Islamic State” organization on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor , between Jaysh al-Thowwar operating under the banner of the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization, where the clashes are concentrated in Al-Bokhater and other areas in the suburbs of Hajin, the organization’s former stronghold in the area, and the clashes are accompanied by ongoing aerial and rocket shelling targeting ISIS controlled areas in its last enclave there, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 17 persons (13 ISIS members and 4 Iraqi persons of the families of the organization), who were killed as a result of bombardment that is not known whether it was carried out by the International Coalition or by the Iraqi forces, where the bombardment targeted a mosque in Al-Bokhater in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, thus, it rose to 945, the number of fighters of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids within the enclave of the organization since the 10th  of September 2018, also it rose to about 545, the number members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed since the 10th of September 2018, also, the Syrian Observatory documented that it rose to 328 including 113 children and 72 citizen women (including 180 Syrian citizens including 76 children and 43 women of Syrian nationality), while the Syrian Observatory documented significant casualties during this third month, which caused the killing of 200 civilians including 77 children and 47 women, including 135 Syrian citizens including 55 children and 28 women, in several areas under the control of the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern bank of Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of 257 members of the “Islamic State” Organization since the 10th of November to 10 December 2018, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 172 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces during the same period.

And the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that violent clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces against members of the “Islamic State” Organization, on the outskirts of Hajin town which used to be the main stronghold of the Organization in its last enclave in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, along with the renewed artillery and missile targeting by the International Coalition Forces and the Syria Democratic Forces on the clash areas, and on other areas in the village of Abu Hasan, amid the flights of International Coalition warplanes over the area and targeting the Organization’s-controlled sites and areas of presence from time to time, in the remaining enclave of the Organization on the east bank of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes continued between the Syria Democratic Forces against the members of the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the eastern suburbs of Hajin town, within ISIS last enclave in the east of the Euphrates, where the clashes are accompanied by relative calm in the terms of aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the International Coalition on the positions and controlled areas of the organization, while the SOHR monitored the fall of a number of wounded in the ranks of the SDF, during the clashes between the both parties, where the Syrian Observatory monitored them being transported by 2 ambulances, while a new column by the International Coalition of 7 Hummer vehicles and 2 military trucks has entered the area, also the SDF are continuing to reinforce their positions where they are stationed in Hajin town.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 2 days ago, that it monitored the entry of a column of the Coalition Forces consists of 5 American Hummer vehicles, 4 military trucks, and 2 artilleries to the front lines with the “Islamic state” Organization in the last enclave east of Euphrates River, and this entry comes in conjunction with continuous operations in the vicinity of Hajin town, the last largest stronghold of the “Islamic state” organization in Syria, leaving the Organization with small towns and villages scattered from the east of Hajin to Syrian – Iraqi border, after the Syria Democratic Forces managed to achieve advancement in the area and control the entire town of Hajin, and expel the “Islamic State” organization out of it, amid continuous targeting in the contact areas between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that  the Syria Democratic Forces supported by Coalition Forces have completely controlled Hajin town, which is considered the main and largest stronghold of the “Islamic State” Organization in its last remaining enclave at the east bank of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the control took place during the last hours, following violent clashes and successive attacks, intense and violent air and ground strikes by Coalition Forces, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that this control pushed the Organization to retreat into the land surrounding the town and to the residential areas near Hajin, where shells and clashes were heard in the farmland around the town, caused from prosecution by members of the Syria Democratic Forces for members of the Organization in the area, amid attempts by the Organization to get the town back, but it has not been able to achieve any progress until now, while this advancement of the Syria Democratic Forces comes after they broke yesterday; the first and strongest defensive lines of the Organization in the town, and controlling during the past 48 hours important sites in the last remaining enclave of the Organization, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continued shelling targeting areas in the enclave left under the control of the “Islamic State” organization, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory; the International Coalition warplanes continued their targeting to ISIS controlled areas and positions in its last enclave at the east of the Euphrates, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, along with continued violent clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, at the outskirts of Hajin town where the SDF managed to achieve significant advancement, and the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties.
