And the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the agreement of the Russian president Vladimir Putin and the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan completes today, Tuesday, the 25th of December 2018, its 100th day, where it started on the 17th of September 2018, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the past 100 days this agreement in its areas, which included the northeastern mountains of Latakia, Sahl al-Ghab, the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, the northern countryside of Hamra, and the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, and the northwestern and suburbs of Aleppo city, in an area divided between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and between the rebel and Islamic factions and the “jihadis”.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Throughout the period of Putin – Erdogan agreement, documented violations involving most of the areas that are close to and far from the Turkish observation posts, most of which were by the regime forces and their allies, while the other section included violations by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions and the jihadi factions, others were represented by violent clashes and other light clashes, infiltrations, and ambushes, which killed tens of fighters and members of the factions and the regime, while others were represented by missile and artillery targeting, and other forms of breaches by helicopters or warplanes, and despite the attempt of the Turks and the Russians to show the agreement as a historic shift in the Syrian conflict and an attempt to achieve peace; no provision of the agreement was implemented until now.

The agreement included the heavy disarmament by the regime forces and the factions and withdrawing it from the area, but they turned around the first agreement and forced the factions alone to withdraw their heavy weapons from the area, where Jaysh al-Izza turned the table over the heads of the Turks by exposing the new agreement, which stated that the steps of withdrawing weapons will be carried out by the factions only without being implemented by the regime forces, as the Russia guarantees that the regime forces will not move towards any offensive action against the areas from which heavy weapons will be withdrawn and from which the jihadis will withdraw, but the factions did not commit to both terms, where the withdrawal of heavy weapons was carried out partly for weapons of some of the jihadi factions and other factions close to Turkey, and the rest of the weapons were completely hidden in trenches covered from the top, especially in the northeastern countryside of Latakia, while the Syrian Observatory monitored that none of the “jihadi” fighters have withdrawn, the thing that was covered by Turkey and ignored by Russia, in an attempt to show that the agreement of both presidents had achieved an unprecedented success, which conflicted with all the details that the Syrian Observatory has monitored, moreover, no joint or individual patrols took place by the Turkish Forces or the Russian Forces within the demilitarized area, also the 100 days so far have not seen the opening of the main international roads, namely|:  Aleppo – Latakia road and Aleppo – Damascus road.
