Turkish Forces and their loyal factions waiting for the results of Moscow meeting to determine the fate of the Manbij operation and the International Coalition is still in the city and its countryside

Aleppo province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: `the cautious calm returned to Manbij area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, where the intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the situation in Manbij city is still the same, 24 hours after the regime forces were deployed on the contact lines between Manbij Military Council and Jaysh al-Thowwar, and between the Turkish Forces and the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern and western countryside of Manbij, the Syrian Observatory learned that the presence of the International Coalition in the Manbij city and its surroundings and its continued patrols in the area; are impeding the entry of the regime forces into the city, where the Turkish leadership informed the leaders of Syrian factions loyal to them in the Syrian north and on the contact lines with Manbij, that they are waiting the decision of the Turkish leadership after the meeting of Moscow today, to determine the fate of Manbij process, whether to be launched or stopped completely, and this was accompanied with sending more military forces by the Turkish Forces and their loyal factions to the area.

The Syrian Observatory published last night that the situations in Manbij area in the north-eastern sector of Aleppo countryside, are still tense and fraught, where factions that operate under Turkey’s command are continuing their mobilizations and preparations in the area, amid ongoing alertness by the forces of Mabij Military Council and Jaysh al-Thowwar there, and these ongoing alertness and mobilizations are coincided with the ongoing talks between representatives of the regime forces and of the Syria Democratic Forces and groups operating under their banner, about expanding the regime forces’ scope of control, without reaching a conclusion until this moment, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that it learned from several reliable sources that a tense situation prevails Manbij area, mobilization and preparations, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Turkish Forces informed the factions operating in the Syrian north and in Idlib Province; to send lists of fighters to participate in the processes of Manbij and East Euphrates, amid anticipation of what will happen at the Moscow meeting, the Syrian Observatory learned that the forces of Manbij Military Council and Jaysh al-Thowwar, have put their military forces on alert in Manbij and its countryside, in conjunction with movements seen by the pro-Turkey factions within areas of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces opposite Manbij, where vehicles were seen approaching the contact lines with Manbij Military Council and Jaysh al-Thowwar, amid fears of starting a military operation at any time.
