Clashes among gangs continue in Idlib

Violent clashes among Turkish state allied gang groups spread to various areas and continue. There are over 30 reported casualties from both sides in the most recent fighting.

There have been violent clashes between Hayat Tahrir Al Sham (HTS) and the National Liberation Front (NLF) since Tuesday. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the clashes first started in Aleppo, and later spread to Hama and Idlib. The SOHR announced that over 30 gang members were killed in the clashes on Wednesday, and that the HTS continued to advance, taking over 17 towns and villages.
HTS is reported to have counterattacked after the Nureddin Zenki group under the NLF killed 5 HTS members on Monday.

The SOHR announced that the HTS attacked Tiremle, Keraa, Al Faqi, the livestock market near Um Sir and Shex Mustafa, Erneb region to the south of Idlib and El Musterihe, Sholin, El Derona, Mezret El Casim and Ceb Sileman areas in the Idlib countryside with dozens of military vehicles.

Sources from the region said the gangs involved in the invasion attacks against Afrin have sent reinforcements to the Nureddin Zenki gangs against the Tahrir Al Sham gangs.

A migrant staying in the Atme Camp was wounded in the clashes in the region.
