Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions of Hama countryside conduct understandings about letting the fighters of the National Liberation Front stay in Sahl Al-Ghab and allowing those who want to return and arranging the areas of distribution of each faction

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information about ongoing talks about definitive consensus between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions operating in the north-western countryside of Hama of Ahrar Al-Sham and the rest factions with the mediation of an Islamic corps close to Turkey, about reaching an agreement leads to bring back who want to return of the fighters left to Afrin and letting those who want, to stay in Sahl Al-Ghab and the north-west of Hama, provided that an agreement is reached concerning the distribution of the points and areas of presence of each faction on the contact lines with the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, after the Syrian Observatory published on the 15th of January 2019, that it monitored that more battalions operating in the Syrian North have joined Al-Sham Corps which is close to the Turkish authorities, in successive joining processes that raised the numbers of those who have joined the Corps, where the SOHR monitored the joining of (Ahrar Kafr Basin, Ansar Al-Sunnah Batalion in Bayanoun and Shuhada’a Hour) after the joining of (Ahrar Uwayjil – Shuhada’a Uwayjil – Kafr Naha – Al-Houtta – Shuhada’a Kafr Naha – Anjara) and groups of the battalions of Thowwar Al-Sham and Bayariq Al-Sham, all operate in the western countryside of Aleppo, as well as (Jund Allah, Ansar Al-Haqq, Suqour Al-Islam, Dibou Ismail) which announced their joining to Al-Sham Corps, and in the north of Idlib, the battalions of (Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jama’a, Al-Qassam – Al-Tawheed – Yamen Ghayyath – Sa’d ibn Mu’adh) announced their joining to the most closest corps to Turkey, after Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham took the control of the entire areas of al-Zenki and other factions in the western countryside of Aleppo, the SOHR also monitored a state of disorder and resignations in the service institutions in the towns and villages of the western countryside of Aleppo, after the area has been added to the control of ​​the Rescue Government in the administrative aspects.

The Syrian Observatory published today morning, Tuesday, that continuous preparations for the exit of new batches of fighters of the National Liberation Front, during the next few hours on Tuesday, the 15th of January 2019, from places in Jabal Shashabo and Sahl al-Ghab at the countryside of Idlib and Hama, to areas controlled by factions “Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch” in the countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the exit process would continue individually and in separate groups, and it will not take place in regular batches, while the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Monday, that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a new batch of National Liberation Front fighters had moved towards areas controlled by the “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield” in Aleppo countryside, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: tens of fighters of the National Liberation Front and their families have gotten out of Ariha area and Jabal Shashabo on Monday the 14th of January; towards the controlled areas of the factions of “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield operations” in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, in implementation of the agreement that took place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the preparations are underway for the exit of a new batch of National Liberation Front fighters within the next few hours, from their areas in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama and Idlib countryside, after the exit process that took place during the last 48 hours, where tens of fighters have gotten out with tens of civilians, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: tens of fighters and their families as well as tens of other civilians, have come out in batches and individual groups to areas control “Olive Branch” in Aleppo countryside yesterday and the day before yesterday, and the Syrian Observatory published on Saturday the 12th of January 2018 that an exchange of captives took place yesterday evening, Friday, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the National Liberation Front, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the National Liberation Front released 3 captives of Tahrir Al-Sham whom the Front had captured during the fighting, in return for handing over a captive of the Liberation Front, as well as the bodies of fighters affiliated to the National Liberation Front of those who were killed during the fighting between the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published last night, that the factions of the National Liberation Front have handed over their checkpoints on Damascus – Aleppo International Highway, to the Al-Sham Corps which is the closest faction to Turkey, where the checkpoints in the north and south of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, the checkpoint which is located in the north of Maarrat Hattat, and another one in Jisr Hish, have been handed over, and all of these checkpoints are on Damascus – Aleppo Highway which was supposed to back to service last month according to the Russian – Turkish agreement, while the Syrian Observatory published today morning, that a new agreement took place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and factions of the National Liberation Front, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the agreement provides for handing over all the checkpoints of Jaysh al-Ahrar in the northern countryside of Idlib at the Syrian border with Iskenderun, in addition to the recognition of Jaysh al-Ahrar that the rescue government is the administrative authority within the areas where it is spread, and in the same context, the sources informed the Syrian Observatory that members of Ahrar al-Sham refused to get out of Sahl al-Ghab and Jabal Shashabo towards areas of control of “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” Operations Forces in Aleppo countryside, after the promises made by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham not to interfere with them, also Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham continues to spread in more of the areas that recently became under its control in Sahl al-Ghab, Jabal Shashabo, and the western countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that it is expected to start in the coming hours or the next 24 hours; the process of withdrawal of hundreds of fighters from the National Liberation Front, the vast majority are of Ahrar al-Sham movement towards the controlled areas of “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield” Operations in the northern and northwestern countryside of Aleppo, and in the same context; Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham continues its spread in several areas which used to be under the control of the National Liberation Front, amid raids and searches carried out by Tahrir al-Sham, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the road of Azza – Afrin was reopened after it was closed by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham a few days ago, and now the commercial and civil traffic returned to the crossing, while the Syrian Observatory monitored on Sunday, the 6th of January, that more than 500 fighters of the movement of Nour al-Dien al-Zenki were withdrawn to areas of “Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch”, after Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on the western countryside of Aleppo, and the last city was al-Atarib city.
