After besieging the ISIS in about 4 km², clashes renewed between those who refuse to surrender against SDF on the east bank of Euphrates
Deir Ezzor – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous clashes in the last areas remained for the “Islamic State” Organization in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, between ISIS members who refused to surrender against Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, accompanied by occasional targeting and renewed shelling in addition to explosions believed to be caused by suicide bombers of the Organization detonating themselves with explosive belts, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of combat operations in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, between the last of what remained of members of the “Islamic State” Organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, in the vicinity of what is left for the Organization on the east bank of Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory monitored during the hours of last night attacks and attempts by the Organization to stay in the last geographical areas left for it at the east of Euphrates, amid continuous attempts by the Coalition and the SDF to end the presence of the Organization there, where only few remaining ISIS members are still defending themselves and their survival in the area, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the violent fighting was accompanied by explosions caused by four suicide bombers detonating themselves in booby-trapped vehicles, and the accompanying bombings caused more casualties, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 19 fighters of the “Islamic State” Organization, in addition to 4 suicide bombers who blew themselves up in a booby-trapped vehicles and explosive belts, while at least 11 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed, raising to 1273 the number of members and leaders of the “Islamic State” Organization, who were killed in the clashes, detonations and raids, while it rose to 669, the number of fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the 10th of November to 10 December 2018, also the Syrian Observatory documented it rose to 401 people including 144 children and 86 citizen women (including 233 Syrian citizens including 99 children and 57 women of Syrian nationality), the number of people who were killed since the 10th of December 2018, also the “Islamic State” Organization had executed more than 713 detainees, of who were arrested on various charges including security members and members of the Organization who tried to break away of it and escape its controlled areas, and the executions were carried out inside headquarters and detention centers of the Organization, and within its controlled areas which are today confined to the towns of Sha’afah, al-Susah, al-Baghuz and villages of Abu Hasan, Bo Badran, al-Marashdah, al-Shajla, al-Kashmeh, al-Safiya and al-Bukhatir suburb east of Hajin, which extends along the east bank of Euphrates, along with its last enclave in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the process of getting citizens, ISIS members and their families out of the last enclave left for the organization at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, is continuing, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the exit of more than 1000 persons of the remaining persons in what remained for the organization in the area of east Euphrates, towards the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces, aboard 20 vehicles that entered today morning, the front area and the contact lines with the organization, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the number of ISIS members exceeded 200 members of those who left within the total number of this batch, which is the first batch to contain a number of men and young men larger than the number of children and women, and the sources confirmed to the SOHR that most of those who have got out within this batch are descended from Aleppo province and of the Iraqi nationality, thus, it rose to 30600, the number of people who have gotten out of the organization’s enclave since early December 2018, of different nationalities of Syria, Iraq Russia, Somalia, Philippine and other Asian nationalities, and about 28550 of them have gotten out after the decision of the American president Trump to withdraw from Syria on the 19th of December 2018, including about 2470 members of the organization of those who infiltrated within the displaced people, and they were arrested after the residents recognized them and reported the security services about their infiltration, and the other group surrendered themselves after they managed to get out of ISIS last enclave, also people of those who fled confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the organization is greatly collapsed, and it cannot resist no more, where the organization depends in repelling the attacks, on the heavily-planted landmines, the booby trapped vehicles and the “suicide bombers”.
