The north of Aleppo witnesses clashes once again between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen deployed in the area

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed clashes in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where the SOHR monitored clashes between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen deployed in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the regime forces are present, and the clashes were concentrated in areas in Mare’ countryside, amid exchange of targeting, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 30th of January 2019, that it monitored clashes in areas of Mar’anaz and Kafrkhasher in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the gunmen who are the areas of the deployment of the Kurdish forces the regime forces; against the rebel and Islamic factions working in the area, accompanied by more targeting between both parties but no information about casualties yet, and the Syrian Observatory published last Tuesday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed fighting between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the regime forces are deployed, in Kafr Khasher and Maraanaz in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 27th of January 2018, that it monitored clashes between the both parties in the areas of Mar’anaz and Jabrin and in other areas in the countryside of Marea town, in conjunction with the continued shelling between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published at night of the 26th of January 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed combat operations in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where areas in the vicinity of Mare’ town, and contact points in the same countryside, witnessed fighting described as violent between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the pro-regime gunmen are deployed, accompanied by exchange of targeting between the both parties, in areas in Kafr Khasher, Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah, which resulted in the killing and injury of a number of fighters, where the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a fighter of the factions as well as the injury of others with varying severity, the SOHR also monitored shelling by the regime forces on places in Al-Bab area and on other areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of the Turkish forces and the factions loyal to them of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces, amid exchange  of targeting by machineguns between the both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 24th of January 2019, that it monitored the continuation of clashes until after midnight of yesterday in Kafrkhasher area  in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, between gunmen deployed within areas of presence of the Kurdish Forces and the regime’s allies, against the rebel and Islamic factions operating in the area, coincided with the continuation of exchange of targeting between both parties but no information about casualties until now, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed combat operations between the rebel and Islamic factions, against gunmen spread within the areas of presence of the Kurdish forces and the regime’s allies, in places in the vicinity of Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah areas in the northern sector of Aleppo province, and the Syrian Observatory monitored exchange of shelling that accompanied the clashes in the area, but no information about casualties was reported, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that explosions were heard in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, caused by shelling by factions loyal to Turkey which targeted places in Tel Rifaat area, after similar shelling that targeted areas in Mar’e countryside, in the same sector of Aleppo countryside, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, after clashes that renewed last night, Tuesday, for the second time in 48 hours, between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the pro-regime gunmen are deployed, in areas in Kafr Khasher in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, amid targeting in the clash areas, while the sound of an explosion was heard in the northern countryside of Aleppo believed to be caused by targeting to a military vehicle of factions of the operation “Euphrates Shield”, while the Syrian Observatory published 72 hours ago, that a landmine exploded in a car belongs to the Free Police and an Islamic Corps close to Turkey, in Mrimin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which killed 2 members and injured others, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, the 18th of January 2018, that at least one explosion was heard in the outskirts of the controlled areas of the factions of the operation “Olive Branch”, from the north-western side of Aleppo city, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the forces deployed in the area which is under the control of the regime’s allies and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), targeted Kimar area, which killed a fighter of an Islamic Division loyal to Turkey as well as the injury of 5 others with varying severity, and the number of human losses may increase, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that violent explosions were heard in the area between northwest of Aleppo city and Afrin area, intersected sources said that they were caused by artillery shelling targeted places in a village located within areas in which the Kurdish Forces and the gunmen loyal to the regime are spread, where the shells fell on areas in Soghana village, intersected sources said that their source was areas of control of the Turkish Forces and factions of “Olive Branch” Operation, which wounded several people, also the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by the regime forces targeted places in Tal Msibin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo which caused material damage, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 14th of January 2019, that it documented the death of a fighter of a faction of the 3rd Corps, where he died after targeting a vehicle belongs to the faction by a guided missile at Kafr Khasher area in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of this month that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting a vehicle of fighters of the factions operating within the northern countryside of Aleppo; by fighters from Kurdish units in the vicinity of Kaljibrin area, which caused material damage and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of the fighters working in the area, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2 fighters of the factions operating north of Aleppo, during the targeting and the clashes that took place during the last 24 hours in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between gunmen deployed within the controlled areas of the pro-regime gunmen and the Kurdish forces against and the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern country of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory published 72 hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed clashes in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where clashes took place in the past hours between pro-regime gunmen against the rebel and Islamic factions, in places in the vicinity of Tal Al-Farfurah area, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, amid information about the fall of casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published 4 days ago, that clashes described as violent, took place today evening, Wednesday the 2nd of January 2018, between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions on one hand, against fighters located in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the Pro-regime gunmen are deployed on the other, in places in the vicinity of the areas of Harbal, Sheikh Issa and the southern countryside of Mare’, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, and this fighting comes about 2 weeks after similar fighting took place in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions on one hand, against fighters in the areas where the Pro-regime gunmen and Kurdish forces are deployed on the other, where a member who is not known whether of the Pro-regime gunmen or of the Kurdish forces, was killed at that time, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 15th of November 2018, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that the military column that reached areas of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them within Tal Rifaat area on Tuesday, is military reinforcements brought to the so-called “5th Corps” loyal to the regime forces which was formed by Russia months ago, where the Corps fortified its sites and the raised barricades within its positions in Tal Rifaat area, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned that the Turkish – Russian endeavors continue to press the factions and the regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, to open the international road of Gaziantep – Aleppo of the strategic importance, and the Syrian Observatory published last Tuesday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the arrival of military gears heavily armed with heavy and medium weapons and members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where the positions of the regime forces in Tel Rifaat area are located, and it is not known so far whether the regime forces have brought these reinforcements for a specific purpose, or it is just a process of changing shifts of the checkpoints and posts of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the area, and it is noteworthy that the contact areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo are witnessing from time to time, targeting and clashes between the regime forces and their allies against factions operating in the area.

The Syrian Observatory published previously that it monitored mobilizations by the regime forces and the Iranian forces and gunmen loyal to them in both northern and north-eastern sectors of Aleppo countryside, where the contact areas with the rebel and Islamic factions which operate in the area and most of which are supported by the Turkish forces, are located, where these mobilizations have started since the beginning of September 2018, through bringing more military reinforcements of tanks, armored vehicles and heavy and medium weapons in addition to fighters, along with the movements of the Syrian opposition of rebel and Islamic factions as well as the Turkish forces’ fortifications to their positions, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the reinforcements that began to arrive in the area since the 2nd of September 2018, of the Iranian forces the regime forces, have reached more than 5000 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab, and Asian nationalities, and tens of vehicles, armored vehicles, and tanks have spread over an areas extending from al-Shahba dam area to the contact lines with Afrin, passing through Om Hosh, Tal Rifaat, Harbel, Ein Daqneh, Menagh airport, Deir Jamal, and the surroundings of Nubl and Zahra, and areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, while areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo witnessed exchange of targeting between the regime forces against the factions in the controlled areas of each of them in the area, and these reinforcements also coincided with the receiving points by Jaysh al-Islam on the contact points with the regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after a consensus with a faction supported by Turkey for Jaysh al-Islam to receive the points, where Jaysh al-Islam restructured itself and reassembled its forces, while the regime forces are carrying out this mobilizations and fortification in Aleppo countryside, fearing an attack that may target their location in case the battle of Idlib was launched, for which they have mobilized more than 2000 military armored vehicle and tens of thousands of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, most of them were brought from fronts that previously witnessed clashes against the “Islamic State” organization or the rebel and Islamic factions.
