In conjunction with the escalation of anti-regime movement in Daraa and the Syrian south, security branches arrest former leaders and administrators who “reconciled with the regime”

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the security forces of regime’s intelligence have carried out a massive campaign of raids and arrests in Inkhil town in the northern sector of the Daraa countryside, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the branch of the military security carried out a large-scale raid in Inkhil during the past hours, and arrested at least 10 people including a former faction leader who carried out a “reconciliation and settlement”, as well as people who held administrative positions in the town during the factions’ control of it, but no information about the reasons for the detention yet, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 7th of February 2019 that  the duration of “reconciliation and settlement” in Syrian south and the vicinity of the capital Damascus has barely ended, until the regime forces began to receive responses to their violations committed during the months in which  they were supposed to have truce with the rest of the people who stayed in their areas, and work to settle their situation in their areas, but the security forces and the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, exploited this post-war calm to loot, violate, impose royalties, and clamp down on civilians along with escalating the abuses, and increasing the number of people wanted for the conscription and reserve services within the ranks of the regime forces, and at a time when the Operations started to appear with a clear name in the Syrian south; the operations in the vicinity of the capital Damascus and its suburbs are still bear unknown name, and the targeting of centers and headquarters of the regime forces and its intelligence, are accompanied by provocative operations of the regime, which includes anti-regime writing or tearing a picture of the head of the regime, also the Syrian Observatory monitored a series of operations the latest of which was an attack in al-Sanamin area in the northern countryside of Daraa, targeted the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and information about casualties and wounded, while the Syrian Observatory monitored in the recent days tearing the image of Syrian regime President, Bashar al-Assad in the square of Qudsaya area on the outskirts of the capital Damascus, accompanied by writing phrases against the Syrian regime on walls in the town, like: “the people want to overthrow the regime, Leave, Freedom Forever,” “followed by continues tension in the town searching for the perpetrators to detain them, also the phrases were removed from the walls on which they were written.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published recently that the Syrian Observatory monitored phrases written by unidentified people, on walls of the Eastern Kerk town against the regime forces, al-Assad, and the presence of Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah, where they say: “were are coming -you- dogs of Iran and Hezbollat, Saraya al-Janoub” (referring to the pagan god “Allat” instead of Allah in the phrase), while other writings say: “al-Baath Party is a traitor and affiliating to it is a crime, Saraya al-Janoub,” and the continuation of writings of anti-regime phrases in Daraa countryside coincided with increased attacks against it, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the security chaos continues and expand within Daraa Province in the Syrian south, also things go beyond operations carried out by unidentified parties to operations under a new name launched on the 4th of February 2018, it is the “Popular Resistance”, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the killing of at least 3 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, as a result of an explosive device detonation planted at a checkpoint in Namer area northeast of Daraa countryside, which killed 3 members, where this bombing operation was claimed by the “Popular Resistance”, which is the first of its operations in Daraa Province after announcing itself, in a response to the arrests and taking people for the reserve and conscription services, and to the violations against the residents of Daraa Province, which was controlled by the regime forces months ago after extensive military operation and “reconciliation and settlements”, and the Syrian Observatory published on the morning of the 4th of January 2019, that what is known as the “Popular Resistance” in Daraa province released a statement calling on young men and men of Daraa to join it, in the lite of campaigns of the regime forces for recruiting them in the “mandatory and reserve” service in regime’s army, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of the statement, it says:

“After how things have become in the southern area and after what we witnessed of treachery of the crime machine and its break of the conducted covenants and reconciliation, and what it carries out of raids, arrests, and calling the youth for the compulsory and reserve service and imposing the return of the defected members to serve side by side with the sectarian militias to kill our people in the north, exploiting the hardship of living and narrowing down on the people in the light of the difficult life conditions, we in the popular resistance will be the powerful shield that defends the people of our beloved country, Syria, with all of its spectrum wherever they are, so we invite you to join the ranks of the popular resistance that seeks to keep the injustice away of the oppressed and to follow the path of freedom, for which we have given blood, body parts, detainees, and lives.”

The Syrian Observatory monitored new phrases written by unknown people on the walls of several schools in Dael town in the middle sector of Daraa countryside, and the statements against the regime forces came as a continuation of the writings all over Daraa province, and the Syrian Observatory monitored a situation of alert among regime forces’ air intelligence in the town, but no information about arrests yet, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the 26th of January that unidentified persons have written more phrases on the walls of the cities and towns of Daraa countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored writings on walls in Al-Hrak town in Daraa countryside read “Al-Hrak is free”, “We are coming and you will regret” and “From the revolutionaries of Al-Hrak to the revolutionaries of Idlib”, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 21st of January 2019, that it monitored more anti-regime writings in Daraa province which is under the control of the regime’s allied militiamen where unidentified persons wrote “Oh Christ Worshipers, we will never forget our martyrs”, “There is no courtyard for the revolutionaries” and “The expeditions of the Popular Resistance are coming”, on the walls of Al-Sanamayn city in Daraa countryside, as a part of the continuing campaigns of writing on the walls of the cities, towns and villages of Daraa countryside by unknown people, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 14th of January 2019, that unidentified people continue to express their dissatisfaction with the “reconciliation and settlement” with the regime forces, and denounce Bashar Assad’s regime through writings on walls of areas in Daraa Province, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that unknown people wrote on walls of Mlehat al-Atash town in Daraa countryside, some of them says “dawn with al-Baath party”, “Revolution continues” and “traitors those who join the regime forces” , The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that an escalating resentment is taking place in Da’el town in the central sector of Daraa countryside, due to the lack of fuel in the town which is used for heating and operation of furnaces, considering the low temperatures, also unknown people tore the picture of the President of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad in the town for the second time in the past two days, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored anti-reconciliation and anti-regime writings in Daraa countryside, where unknown people wrote “compulsory service is fighting for infidels” and “the settlement is a humiliation before death,” on the walls of Nawa city in the countryside of Daraa, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 29th of December 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the writing against the Syrian regime continue within Daraa Province, where those who oppose the regime continue to write on walls of towns, city, and villages of Daraa countryside, which invoke the regime and its loyal gunmen each time, in search for them, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the writings on the walls of Nawa city in the northwestern countryside of Daraa by unknown people, they read: “down with Assad”, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the past 48 hours that the Syrian Observatory monitored new phrases written by unknown people in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city and the Eastern Karak town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, they say: “Our pain in our livelihood will not let us forget our detainees, our dignity is above your security grip, we reject the tent of Shame.” Other read: “down with al-Baath Party, we want the detainees, and no for the mandatory service “, it is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory published 2 days ago that the writings continue against the regime on the walls of city, town, and areas in Daraa Province city, which was controlled by the regime after it managed to end the presence of rebel and Islamic factions through “reconciliation and settlement” operations, and ending the existence of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored unidentified people writing words on walls in Muzayrib town in the southwestern countryside of Daraa against Bashar al-Assad, they said: “Down with Assad, Down with Baath Party, death for traitors, Down with traitors”, after which a state of alert prevailed the regime forces in the areas of the writings, in an attempt to find out who wrote them, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored new writings against Bashar Assad’s regime in Daraa Province, where unknown people call themselves “knights of the regime” wrote sentences of: “down with Assad and down with the Baath Party” on the walls of al-Mata’eiya town in the countryside of Daraa, this comes within the escalation of similar writings in various areas in Daraa Province, since the regime regained control of it, either through military operations or “reconciliations and settlements,”.
