The Coalition and the SDF continue to put pressure over the organization through ongoing shelling and bombardment to force it surrender and the latter tries to maintain its presence and reach a deal saves it from being terminated
Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the “Islamic State” organization is still trying desperately to survive in the east of the Euphrates, after it was trapped by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces in an area of less than 2 km2, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued shelling and bombardment by the Coalition’s forces and warplanes and the SDF on the remaining areas under the control of the organization east of the river, within the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, in an ongoing attempt to put pressure on the organization to force it surrender, at the time when the members and commanders of the organization remaining in the enclave, abstain so far to surrender, and try to reach a deal enables them to leave to unknown destinations, and escape from being arrested which may led them to be detained in the Coalition’s custody till death, and the Syrian Observatory for human Rights monitored continued clashes, shooting and targeting with varying frequency of violence in the vicinity of the enclave, between the members of the SDF against the members of the organization, while fears increases over the lives of the citizens remaining inside the enclave that is left under the control of the organization.
