About 250 shells, the regime forces have launched in 24 hours targeting Hama and Idlib provinces in an unprecedented escalation in weeks that raised the civilian death toll to 76

The Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them targeted areas in the villages of al-Sharia and al-Jamasa in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama which injured a citizen, also the regime forces renewed the shelling and targeted areas on the outskirts of Qal’aat al-Madiq town in the same countryside, but no information about casualties, while areas in Sukayk village in the southeastern countryside of Idlib were shelled by the regime forces, which caused material damage, raising to more than 41, the number of areas targeted by the regime forces during the past 24 hours with about 250 shells, killing a person and injuring about 9 others  with varying severity, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored missile shelling carried out by the regime forces after midnight of yesterday, targeted Hama countryside within the demilitarized area, where places on the outskirts of al-Lataminah town north of Hama were shelled, and other places on the outskirts of al-Hawijah, al-Sharia, Jamasa, and Qal’aat al-Madiq in Sahl al-Ghab northwest of Hama, also the regime forces targeted after midnight of yesterday areas in al-Khwyn and al-Zarzour in the southeastern sector of Idlib countryside, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more violations within the alleged demilitarized zone, and the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, where the regime forces shelled places today evening, in Tal Al-Sakhr and Al-Bana in the northern countryside of Hama, as well as other places in the area of the Abandoned Battalion, without information about human losses, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more ground shelling on areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, and the areas of the deal between Putin and Erdogan, where the regime forces targeted areas in Al-Latamianh town in the northern countryside of Hama, and the shelling also targeted areas in Al-Sakhr village and its vicinity in the same countryside, raising to 215, the number of shells that targeted the areas of the truce since today afternoon, Tuesday the 12th of February 2019, the Syrian Observatory also monitored that the shelling targeted the towns and villages of Tell Mannas, Maar Shamarin, Maar Shamshah, Deir Al-Sahrqi, Jarjnaz, and Kafr Nubl in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside, Khan Shaykhun, Al-Taman’aa, Tremla and Um Nir in the southern countryside of Idlib, Masada, Ras al-Ayn, Barissa, Ba’rabu, Al-Ferja, Al-Khwaiyn, Zarzur, Tawil al-Haleeb, Al-Raffah, Al-Tah, the Abandoned Battalion area and Tell Khaznah in both eastern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, Qalaat al-Madiq on the administrative border between Idlib and Hama, Khirbat al-Naqus and Jesr Bayt al-Ras village in the north-western countryside of Hama, the towns and villages of Al-Latamianh, Hasraya, Tal Hawash, Lafr Nabudah, Kafr Zita, Al-Hardana and al-Jabriya in the northern countryside of Hama, and the villages of Sehaab and Shulin in Jabal Shashabo.

The heavy and unprecedented shelling in months, on the areas where the Russian – Turkish truce is valid, and which is concentrated on both Idlib and Hama countryside, resulted in the death of a child in Kafr Nubl, and the injury of 7 others with varying severity, while the authorities that are responsible for education, suspended working on schools for tomorrow, for fear of the continued escalation on Maarrat Al-Nu’man area, which had the largest share of shelling today, and with the fall of more casualties, it rose to 225, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, 76 civilians including 30 children and 11 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, among them 3 were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 67 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 14 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 82 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.
