The rocket shelling continues leaving more human losses and raises the number of civilian casualties to 100 including 60 children and women during the implementation of Putin – Erdogan deal
The regime forces have been still continuing their shelling since morning on areas in Khan Shaykhun and Maarrat Al-Nu’man cities in the southern countryside of Idlib,, where the Syrian observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed heavy rocket shelling on areas in both cities, which resulted in the death of a woman in Khan Shaykhun, and the fall of more wounded including children, as well as the outbreak of fires in the places of the shelling, raising the number of casualties to 20 persons including 8 children and 9 women, they are: 9 persons (3 women, and 6 children) who were killed on Friday the 15th of February 2019, as a result of the shelling on Khan Shaykhun city, while 9 other citizens were killed today, Saturday the 16th of February 2019, including a chemist, 2 children and 4 women, they all killed in Khan Shaykhun, Maarrat Al-Nu’man and Qalaat al-Madiq, as well as a woman who died affected by her injury in Sahl Al-Ghab, and a woman who was killed in shelling on Khan Shaykhun city, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, raising to at least 249, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are 100 civilians including 40 children and 19 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting by firearm and bombardment by warplanes, among them 3 were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 67 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 14 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 82 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in conjunction with renewed shelling by mortars by the regime forces on areas in Al-Huwayz in Sahl Al-Ghab Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, also areas in Twinah village in Sahl Al-Ghab Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama was shelled by the regime forces, amid the flight of warplanes over the southern sector of Idlib countryside, in turn, factions operating in the south-eastern sector of Idlib targeted by rocket shells, positions of the regime forces in Tell Maraq village in the same sector, also several rocket shells fell on areas in Salhab town in the western countryside of Hama which is under the control of the regime forces, without information about human losses, and the Syrian Observatory published today morning, that it monitored cautious calm prevailing the sectors of the Russian – Turkish truce and the demilitarized zone from the midnight of Saturday – Sunday to today morning, Sunday, intervened by the fall of shells fired by the regime forces on Al-Huwayz village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the outskirts of Al-Lataminah in the northern sector of Hama countryside, while shells and missiles interrupted this calm today morning, through targeting by the regime forces to areas in both Khan Shaykhun and Maarrat Al-Nu’man cities in the southern countryside of Idlib, which resulted in the fall of wounded and there is information about the fall of casualties, amid the flight of reconnaissance planes over Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, in conjunction with shelling by mortars by the regime forces on areas in the villages of Sharia and Al-Huwayz, which left a number of wounded in Sharia village, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a citizen woman of the people of Twinah village in Sahl Al-Ghab affected by the injury she had due to the shelling by the regime forces which targeted the village days ago.
