Coinciding with negotiations over their surrender, the official announcement of the end of ISIS east of Euphrates is postponed, the remainder of ISIS request a safe passage and assistance in exchange for a deal

Amid anticipation for the official announcement of the end the “Islamic State” Organization’s control in east of Euphrates by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic forces; the Syria Observatory for Human Rights monitored from several reliable sources that the Syria Democratic Forces continue sweeping operations in areas from which the “Islamic State” Organization has recently withdrawn, in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, and reliable sources confirmed that the continuous sweeping operation and the insistence of the forces in the area on sweeping all the areas, tunnels, sites, and former headquarters have prompted the postponement of the official declaration of full control of the east of Euphrates and the end of ISIS as a dominant force in the area, while the sweeping coincides with continues negotiations between the Syria Democratic Forces and the “Islamic State” Organization, where sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the remainder members of the Organization requested a safe passage to unknown area believed to be the Iraqi Desert, but the request was rejected by the SDF leadership, while the Syria Democratic Forces agreed to introduce food aid to more than 300 members of the Organization with the civilians and their families who remain in a farm camp between al-Baghuz and the east bank of Euphrates River and in tunnels in the area, in exchange for releasing hostages and captives from the Syria Democratic Forces by the by the Organization.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of tens of trucks of the International Coalition to the Syrian territory today evening, Sunday the 17th of February 2019, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; about 100 trucks with Iraqi number plates, entered the Syrian territory at 22:00, and the trucks are: 40 empty trucks that were not carrying anything aboard, 40 others were closed and it is not known what they contained inside, 10 trucks carrying vehicles and 10 other tankers, and the column of the International Coalition which is composed of the 100 trucks was monitored at Amuda – Al-Qamishli Road in Al-Hasakah countryside.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces continuing the sweeping operations, within the farms located in the vicinity of al-Baghuz area in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, searching for hiding ISIS members within tunnels established by the Organization during its control of the area, after the Organization was completely finished in the east bank of Euphrates River, and its presence now is limited to hidden members in the above-mentioned tunnels, and the Syrian Observatory published that the termination of the organization comes after the surrender of 200 ISIS members in accordance with a deal which is undeclared so far, and which led to the surrender of about 440 members of the organization in 2 batches (a first batch of 240 members and a second one of 200 others), while preparations are underway for the American Director’s announcement that the Islamic State organization is completely defeated at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River according to the deal, while the sweeping comes in search for ISIS members of those who rejected the deal, hiding inside the tunnels.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that in anticipation of the official announcement of the process of ending the “Islamic State” Organization east of Euphrates by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces, the last engineering and military groups are still sweeping the area that used to be under the control of the “Islamic State” Organization, in which the Organization was ended and withdrew to farms near the east bank of Euphrates River, where it is located in this area hiding in it, amid attempts to force the remaining ISIS members to surrender along with families of its members and civilians with it, and the Syrian Observatory documented during the military operation 682, the number of fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the 10th of November 2018, also it rose to 1340, the number of fighters and leaders of the “Islamic State” Organization who were killed in the shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids, also it rose to 417 people including 151 children and 86 citizen women (including 233 Syrian citizens including 99 children and 57 women of Syrian nationality) the number of civilians killed since the 10th of December 2018, also the “Islamic State” Organization had executed more than 716 detainees, of who were arrested on various charges including security members and members of the Organization who tried to break away of it and escape its controlled areas, and the executions were carried out inside headquarters and detention centers of the Organization, and within its controlled areas which are today confined to the towns of Sha’afah, al-Susah, al-Baghuz and villages of Abu Hasan, Bo Badran, al-Marashdah, al-Shajla, al-Kashmeh, al-Safiya and al-Bukhatir suburb east of Hajin, which extends along the east bank of Euphrates, along with its last enclave in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published also that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that on Thursday evening, at least 26 bodies were found belong to members of the “Islamic State” Organization in Baghuz area and its surroundings, in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, at a time when the Syria Democratic Forces continue sweeping the area and dismantling the heavily-planted mines and IEDs by ISIS previously, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned from reliable sources that several families of the “Islamic State” Organization tried to cross the east bank of river Euphrates at night, however, their attempt was unsuccessful, while the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition continue to try to force the remaining members of the Organization who are hiding in farms near the southeast bank within a camp with their families; to force them to surrender and move them as happened previously, and the Syrian Observatory published on the evening of yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces sweeping the mines which were heavily-planted by the “Islamic State” Organization in the enclave where it used to exist force ending it as a dominant force completely, and retreating to farms near the east bank, where its members are still present in the area amid a quest to force the remaining members and leaders of the Organization to surrender, and transfer them with the remaining civilians and their families, after transferring hundreds of those who surrendered and were present in the last enclave of the Organization of members, their families, and civilians.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that it rose to 40140, the number of persons whose exit has been documented by the Syrian Observatory since the 1st of December 2018 until today, the 10th of February 2019, of different nationalities of Syria, Iraq Russia, Somalia, Philippine and other Asian nationalities, and more than 38140 of them have gotten out after the decision of the American president Trump to withdraw from Syria on the 19th of December 2018, including about 4000 members of the organization of those who infiltrated within the displaced people, and they were arrested after the residents recognized them and reported the security services about their infiltration, and the other group surrendered themselves after they managed to get out of ISIS last enclave.
