After killing 45 civilians and displacing more than 30000 and amid Shameful Turkish silence, More than 92 missiles hit Khan Shaykhun city in the last hour

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces escalating their ground targeting against Khan Shaykhun city, which they transformed into an almost empty ghost city, after they were displaced by the increased shelling since the triple meeting between Putin, Erdogan, and Rouhani on the 14th of February 2019, and the intense shelling that preceded this meeting, which started with massacres on the 9th of February 2019, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the last hour intensive shelling by more than 92 missile targeted areas in the western and eastern neighborhoods of Khan Shaykhun city, places in the middle of the city, and other places of the city which is located in the southern countryside of Idlib, which caused significant material damage and injured ppl of the remaining citizens in the city, after tens of thousands of them were displaced due to the ground and aerial bombardment, which killed 45 civilian citizens including 15 children and 15 women since the 9th of February 2019, as a result of the shelling on Khan Shaykhun city, including 3 children who were killed in the air raids on the city, and the Syrian Observatory published about 24 hours ago that the killing by the regime through the massive escalation continues on a city that witnessed less than 2 years ago a massacre, which killed and injured hundreds of civilians in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous escalation by the regime forces and warplanes against Khan Shaykhun city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received confirmed information that the shelling on the neighborhoods of Khan Shaykhun was concentrated on the them sequentially, where the intensive shelling at the beginning was concentrated on the northern and eastern neighborhoods, and caused a complete displacement of residents of both neighborhoods, except for some young men who remained to guard the houses in both neighborhoods, followed by shelling targeted the western and southern neighborhoods from which a large number of residents were displaced, where more than 30000 people have displaced fleeing the rocket and artillery shelling that targeted the city, the local sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the massive shelling has pushed former displaced people in Khan Shaykhun city from the countryside of Hama, to displace again, where the city is considered as a center for the displaced people, who are mostly coming from the areas that became under the control of the regime forces during the military operations in the recent years.
