Al- Assad aircrafts and helicopters kill and wound about 5000 in 5 days
SOHR could document 647 air raids carried out by the regime helicopters and air crafts targeting several places in Syria, since the beginning of Feb/2015.
The helicopters dropped more than 350 explosive barrels on areas in the cities, towns and villages of the provinces of Rif Dimashq, Idlib, Homs, Quneitra, Hasakah, Daraa, Aleppo, Lattakia and Hama.
While the aircrafts carried out 297 raids at least on places in Rif Dimashq, Aleppo,Der-Ezzor, Idlib, Homs, Raqqa, Damasucs, Lattakia, Hama and Daraa
The raids and barrel bombs have left death of 185 civilians, including 34 children and 29 women, while 800 others were wounded, some of them in critical situation. In addition to, the aerial bombardment caused material damages in people’s properties and led to kill some fighters from the rebel and Islamic battalions.

As the anniversary of security resolution no 2139 issued in February 22- 2014, which stated in its third paragraph on demanding “all parties to stop immediately all kinds of attacks launched against civilians, as well as to stop the indiscriminate use of weapons in populated areas, including artillery shelling and aerial bombardment such as dropping explosive barrels, that causes excessive wounds and unnecessary suffering. The resolution refers to the obligation to respect the international humanitarian law and ensures respect it under any circumstances. It also refers to obligation to distinguish between fighters and civilians, prohibition of arbitrary attacks and attacks against civilians”, approached, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights calls for countries that have a significant impact in the international community, and that claim to defend human rights, to work harder in order to stop the war crimes and crimes against humanity, committed daily against the Syrian people, and to refer the file of these crimes to international Criminal Court, or establishing a special courts in Syria,incaseRussia and China continued using the right of veto in the UN Security Council, to prevent the transfer this file to the International Criminal Court, because it is a shame on those who pretend to respect the Human Rights to just write and publish statements that condemns such crimes
