As a part of the aerial escalation…the warplanes return to bomb Idlib and target major cities and towns along with ground shelling on several areas in the countryside of the province and Sahl Al-Ghab
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the escalation of violations today evening, Thursday the 28th of February 2019, where the SOHR monitored the returning of warplanes to carry out airstrikes on the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, in the wake of their bombardment on areas in Saraqeb and Khan Al-Sabil in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where the warplanes carried out raids on areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, while areas in Saraqeb town in the eastern countryside of the province were targeted, also areas in the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city were targeted by heavy machineguns, while the regime forces shelled areas in Al-Tah town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the regime forces also shelled areas in Umm Jalal village and Umm Al-Khalakhil in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, while the regime forces shelled area in Al-Ziyarah town and Mashik village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.
And the SOHR monitored in the past hours, the increase of violations within areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, and in areas of Putin – Erdogan agreement, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the warplane targeting by several missiles areas in Saraqib town and its outskirts, and areas in Khan al-Sobol town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, which caused material damage but no information about casualties so far, amid the flight of several warplanes over the area on the 4th day the targeting by them for Idlib countryside in the last week, also areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib were shelled by about 17 missiles, targeted areas in the city of which tens of thousands of its inhabitants were displaced, and the city was turned into ghost city, which killed a young man and injured others with varying severity, also the regime forces shelled areas in Saraqib town, and targeted Qal’aat al-Madiq on the administrative border between Idlib and Hama, raising to 46 civilian citizens including 15 children and 15 women since the 9th of February 2019, as a result of the shelling on Khan Shaykhun city, including 3 children who were killed in the air raids on the city, raising to 322 at least, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, 148 civilians including 58 children and 29 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, among them 6 citizens including a child, who were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 77 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 15 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 97 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the regime forces renewed their shelling within the demilitarized area and the Russian – Turkish truce areas, where the rocket shelling targeted places in the areas of Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia and the vicinity of Bidama and the al-Najeya in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur city, and areas in roads between Jisr al-Shughur countryside and Jabal al-Akrad, also places in al-Lataminah town and its outskirts in the northern countryside of Hama were under rocket shelling by the regime forces, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a member of Hayyaat Tahrir affected by wounds he had in shelling by the regime forces for Tal Bzam area the northern countryside of Hama two days ago, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a protest at the Syrian border with Iskenderun near Bab al-Hawa border crossing, denouncing the continued shelling and escalation of the Russian – Turkish truce areas, calling on the Turkish guarantor to intervene, where parties of the Rescue Government called for the demonstration there, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that regime forces targeted by rocket shells after midnight of yesterday places in the areas of al-Khwyn and Hersh al-Qasabeen in the southeastern sector of Idlib countryside, and other places in the abandoned battalion area in the eastern sector of the same countryside within the demilitarized area, but other than that; the cautious calm has been prevailing areas of the Russian – Turkish truce since after midnight until now.
