About 12 hours after the attack of the “Jihadi” organization of Ansar al-Tawhid which killed 27 members of the regime forces and their allies…”infiltrators” of Tahrir Al-Sham attack the regime in Latakia Mountains
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new attack on the positions of the regime forces in a new area within the areas of Putin – Erdogan deal, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; a group of “infiltrators” of Haayyat Tahrir Al-Sham, including fighters from the displaced people of the Western Qalamoun, carried out a sudden attack on positions of the regime forces in Jabal Al-Turkman in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia within the areas of Putin – Erdogan deal, and the attack resulted in the fall of confirmed human losses in the ranks of the both parties, and this is the second attack in 12 hours within the area of implementing the agreement between the two presidents applied since the 17th of September 2018, and the violent clashes in the area of Qal’aat Shalaf were accompanied by violent and heavy shelling and sound of explosions caused by exchange of targeting and by shelling by the regime forces which targeted areas in Bdama and Al-Najiyeh as well as the areas between the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur west of Idlib province, and between the north-eastern mountains of Latakia.
The new attack is coincided with the escalation of the numbers of human losses against the backdrop of the round of violent fighting which took place in the northern sector of Hama countryside in the past hours, as a result of the suicidal attack that Ansar al-Tawhid organization carried out today at dawn, Sunday the 3rd of March 2019, on positions of the regime forces in Masasneh area within the demilitarized zone in the northern sector of Hama countryside, where it rose to 27, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them who were killed, while it rose to 6, the number of casualties in the ranks of Ansar al-Tawhid organization who were killed in the same clashes, and the number of casualties in the ranks of the both parties is expected to increase as a result of the presence of injuries some of whom are in critical condition, thus, it rose to at least 361, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, 152 civilians including 59 children and 29 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, among them 6 citizens including a child, who were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 84 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 21 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 125 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.
And the Syrian Observatory published on the 27th of December 2018, that the number of casualties continues to rise as a result of clashes, combat operations, and counter-attacks within the demilitarized area, which was agreed upon between Putin and Erdogan since the 17th of September 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rise in number of casualties in the attack which took place about 24 hours ago in Jabal al-Akrad north of Latakia, where it rose to 9, the number of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, how were killed in an attack by “jihadi” groups, who took advantage of bad weather and heavy fog to carry out a counterattack on sites of the regime forces in Jabal al-Akrad within the demilitarized area, also it rose to 4, the number of fighters of non-Syrian nationalities who were killed of the attackers.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 19th of December 2018 that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the number of casualties of the regime forces continues to rise; as a result of the attack that took place in the northern countryside of Hama on this morning, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 11 members of the regime forces, they were killed as a result of the morning attack of Jaysh al-Izza, which was carried out with the support of Uzbek national snipers, where they exploited the poor weather conditions and fog, and targeted sites of the regime forces and their allies at al-Masasneh checkpoint in the same countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an attack carried out by Jaysh al-Izza fighters on Wednesday morning, the 19th of December 2018, against sites of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in the northern countryside Hama, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the attack began at 6 am Syria time, where fighters of Jaysh al-Izza attacked one position at least of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in al-Masasneh in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, the attack comes in retaliation for the regime’s earlier attack which killed 23 of Jaysh al-Izza more than 40 days ago and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them are in critical situation, and the attack left casualties in the ranks of Jaysh al-Izza, in addition to information about the deaths of others.
This is considered the highest death toll since the 16th of November 2018, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 22 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in attacks carried out by “Wa Harred al-Mu’minin” operations room against locations of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in Sahl al-Ghab at the northern western country of Hama, where they targeted their locations in the areas of Foro and al-Sermaniyyeh in Sahl al-Ghab, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 10th of November 2018 that The Syrian Observatory published on the 10th of November 2018 that Syrian Observatory monitored the fall of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian nationality; against the backdrop of attacks by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in northern countryside of Hama, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: an experienced group known as al-Asa’eb al-Hamraa’ (the red headbands) within Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham led by Egyptian jihadi Abu al-Yaqzan, was able on Friday evening to infiltrate positions of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and the 5th Legion which was established by Russia in al-Tarabea’ area south of Halfaya town in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, and Tahrir al-Sham through its infiltration were able to kill and injure many members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where at least 8 of them were killed and others were injured, which may raise the death toll, this attack come as another one of the violations carried out by the regime forces and Tahrir al-Sham within the demilitarized area, which was agreed upon after the meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
