More deaths in Al-Hool Camp and while being transported to receive treatment in the province’s hospitals raise to 194, the number of children who have died in the new death statelet

Deaths continue in the displacement camp of Al-Hool which transformed into a small state mostly includes families of ISIS members of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 3 children one of whom died while being transported to receive treatment in the hospital, the second died in the hospital and the third died in the camp as a result of the bad health and living conditions, the lack of food and medicine and the sever shortage of medical care, due to the inaction of the international organizations that have had enough with data and media statements for weeks, without being proper to bear the responsibility of the tragedy and catastrophe witnessed in the camp which has become one of the largest camps in the area of the east of the Euphrates and the Syrian territory, raising to at least 194, the number of children who have died since the beginning of December 2018 until today the 31st of March 2019, in a continuation for the death chain in the camp, which is suffering difficult humanitarian conditions after being transformed into a small state with mostly children and women members of the “Islamic” Organization, also reliable sources told the Syrian observatory that if patients cannot be treated in al-Hool camp, they are transferred to al-Shaab and al-Hikmah hospitals in al-Hasaka and Farman Hospital in Qameshly, and reliable sources from inside the camp confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the people in the camp are suffering mainly from the lack of medical supplies and health care, in addition to the decrease of food and lack of movements by the international organizations, and the absence of some others about what is happening in al-Hool camp, in which the daily problems are starting to worsen, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Saturday, that the humanitarian situation in al-Hool camp in the northeast of al-Hasaka continues to decline, where the great number of people who were displaced in recent months to the camp prevented the local and international relief and medical agencies from continuously providing all the requirements of tens of thousands of people living in al-Hool camp which has been transformed into a statelet due to the massive wave of displacement, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored than presence of more than 73000 persons of civilians and families of members of the “Islamic State” Organization and its leaders, including more than 12200 Iraqi families of about 32200 children, women, and some males, as well as thousands of families of different nationalities of western, European, Asian, north African, and other nationalities and the rest of them are of Syrian nationality, while the SOHR published 4 days ago, that the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the humanitarian situation is significantly decreased, as a result of the increased needs and lack of adequate support, where despite the improvement in distribution of aid; they are still too little which prevents conditions from being improved in this camp, which is one of the largest camps for displaced people in Syria, also the lack of assistance and theft of aid and diverting them by some members of Divisions to the people who paid them bribes, making these materials inaccessible to all which reflected negatively on the health status of many of the citizens, especially children who have gotten out mostly with diseases and poor health conditions, and that coincides with sharp decrease in medicines, food, and children’s supplies of diapers, milk, and medicines for them.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of at least 27 children during the last week, due to poor health and living conditions, lack of medicines, and food, and acute shortage of medical care, due to the inaction of international Organizations that have had enough with data and media statements for weeks, without being up to size of the tragedy and the catastrophe in the camp, which has become one of the largest camps in the east Euphrates area and the Syrian territory, raising to 186, the number of children who have died since the end of December 2018 until the 27th of March, in a continuation for the death chain in the camp, which is suffering difficult humanitarian conditions after being transformed into a small state with mostly children and women members of the “Islamic” Organization, and reliable sources from inside the camp confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the people in the camp are suffering mainly from the lack of medical supplies and health care, in addition to the decrease of food and lack of movements by the international organizations, and the absence of some others about what is happening in al-Hool camp, in which the daily problems are starting to worsen.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past 24 hours that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that clashes took place between the internal security forces “Asayish” of the guards of al-Hool camp against smugglers, in the vicinity of the camp in the southeastern countryside of Hasaka, after the increase of number of its residents to more than 70000 of civilians and families of members of the “Islamic State” Organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the clash took place against the backdrop of attempts by smugglers to get families of ISIS members out of the camp, and transferring them to a new destination, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 21st of March 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the fight which took place in Al-Hool camp in the south-eastern sector of Al-Hasakah countryside, resulted in the injury of several persons as a result of the fighting by hands and white weapon and while defusing the engagement by the Internal Security Forces ((Asayish)), and the SOHR learned that a number of injuries are of the women of the “Islamic State” organization, of those who got out in the recent weeks and months to the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces, and the SOHR published hours ago, that it monitored a new case of chaos in the camp, through a fight that took place between 2 displaced people in al-Hool camp between displaced Syrians and Iraqi refugees, which called the internal security Asayish forces to intervene and defuse the fight, amid continuation of the tension that began after a displaced Syrian beat an Iraqi woman in the camp, while the Syrian Observatory just published that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, about the death of more children in al-Hool camp, which turned to a statelet of al-Hool due to the large numbers of displaced people, which reached about 70000 displaced people mostly came from the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas, tunnels, and trenches on the east bank of Euphrates River, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: at least 42 children died during the last week, due to poor health and living conditions, lack of medicines and food, and acute shortage of medical care, due to the inaction of international organizations which -for weeks- have had enough by data and media statements, without doing something up to the scale of tragedy and catastrophe in the camp, which has become one of the largest camps in the east of Euphrates area and in the Syrian territory.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that most of the children who died were at most 12 years of age, some were newborn and others were infants, and the citizens said that the reasons were the diseases the children had when they were in areas of presence of the organization east of Euphrates, as well as the lack of medical and health care for the people who arriving in the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas and al-Hool camp, and at least 69 of the deceased died since the 25th of February 2019, the date of increase of casualties more, while reliable sources confirmed that insults and threats were observed by members of the organization saying to the camp’s protection members: “we want our husbands from your jails, we are not afraid of you, you must be afraid of us, we want to get out of the camp.” they also attacked a medical point in the camp and smashed its windows demanding the release of their men and relatives detained at prisons of SDF, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a storm uprooting and sabotaging more than 100 tents in al-Hool camp area in the southeastern countryside of al-Hasakah, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, which displaced the people who were living in those tents and kept them out in the open, where they joined again hundreds of other families who are living without tents, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received confirmed information about the infiltration of new families into the Turkish territory or to areas controlled by “Euphrates Shield” Operation forces in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, through paying money for smugglers which is about $650 USD per person.

In addition to the increase of numbers of people who arrived to the camp from areas on the east bank of Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the United Nations teams continue to refraining from distributing sufficient numbers of foodstuffs, medical supplies, and the daily life and camp necessities, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the committees working in the camp -which supervise the distribution- taking bribes in exchange for distributing equipment, tents, and aid which exist and stacked in the warehouses of UNHCR and the United Nations, while last mentioned request to secure the road for the delivery of aid, also the reliable sources confirmed that one of the distribution administrators -who is a staff member of UNHCR and the United Nations- insults the displaced people and considered them as members of the “Islamic State” Organization, not to mention the major theft of relief allocations from United Nations warehouses in the capital Damascus towards the east Euphrates area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 18th of March 2019 that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, confirmed that the Syria Democratic Forces arrested about 140 members of the “Islamic State” Organization in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, while an attempt to smuggle them was underway from Deir East Ezzor countryside in the vicinity of the east bank of Euphrates River, through smugglers and corrupt members received bribes from the Organization to transfer the members to a destination that was not known whether it was the Iraqi territory, Turkey, or areas of control of “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces loyal to Turkey, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published about 24 hours from now that the Syrian Observatory for Human Right received information from several reliable sources about clashes took place in Manbij city during the last 48 hours, accompanied by arrests of military personnel in the city located in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: security forces of the Asayish, intelligence, and Manbij Military Council raided houses during the past 48 hours in Manbij city, and clashes took place between the raiders and between members of Zaza Battalion which fights under the banner of SDF, where this battalion includes fighters mostly from the countryside of Aleppo Province, who had smuggled members of the “Islamic State” Organization and their families from Baghuz area and the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and drove them to Manbij city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, in preparation for transferring them to the Turkish territory in exchange for money from ISIS members and families, and reliable sources confirmed that clashes took place between members of the battalion and the raids after which 22 members of the battalion were arrested, and members of the Organization were also arrested with number of their families during these raids in Manbij, they were taken to detention centers.

The Syrian Observatory learned that in recent weeks, the Zaza Battalion had smuggled members of the “Islamic State” Organization from Baghuz area and its farms, towards the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas, then they shaved their beards and clothed them in civilian clothing to be transported to the Iraqi territories, but the Iraqi intelligence was able to arrest and transfer them to their detention centers, where they were more than 350 ISIS members, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 28th of February 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, that the leadership of Syria Democratic Forces began to tighten the inspection process on the military checkpoints within their controlled areas stretching from Manbij to the Syrian-Iraqi border, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: SDF deployed military police forces to the majority of their checkpoints east of Euphrates area and Manbij area on the west bank of Euphrates River, especially those scattered on the roads from Deir Ezzor and Baghuz farms to Manbij and areas of control of “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, where the deployment process and tightening the inspection on the military checkpoints especially for the military vehicles; came after  the Syrian Observatory published a report about smuggling operations and networks of smugglers transporting members, leaders, and their families to the Turkish territory, where the Syrian Observatory published during the last 24 hours that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources about the continuous transfers of members of the “Islamic State” Organization, from their areas of presence in Deir Ezzor countryside, to areas controlled by the Turkey-Supported “Euphrates Shield” operation forces, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: tens of families have left the farms where the “Islamic State” Organization exists between al-Baghuz area and the east bank of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, towards areas controlled by “Euphrates Shield” operation forces in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the number of Families have reached more than 142 families until the 27th of February 2019, who paid huge amount of money in order to reach the Turkish territory through a network of smugglers, and this network includes tens of members of the Syria Democratic Forces and “Euphrates Shield” forces, as well as civilians work as smugglers, where the reliable sources confirmed that the highest amount of money paid for smuggling was about 90000$ US dollars; to transport a non-Syrian family from the east of Euphrates farms towards the Turkish territory.
