U.S-led air raids in eastern Syria kill over 50 Daesh terrorists

On Thursday, as many as 50 Daesh terrorists were murdered by U.S.-led air attacks on a caves area in eastern Syria, a war monitor reported.

The airstrikes hit the caves in the Baghouz, the last IS stronghold in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour province in eastern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The UK-based watchdog group stated the IS militants were hiding in caves and underground shelters after they had lost control over Baghouz.

It emphasized the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is still examining the Baghouz area in search for Daesh terrorists.
