Resentment prevails in Jableh against the Russian forces’ assault on a citizen near the Naval Academy amid the silence of the regime’s intelligence which arrested a pharmacist near whom the incident took place

Latakia Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a number of reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that there is a state of resentment prevailing the coastal city of Jableh in Latakia countryside, against the practices of the members of the Russian forces, which led to a reaction by the residents who expressed their anger against these humiliating actions against the people of the city and its countryside, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights from a number of intersected sources; members of the Russian forces have beaten a citizen in Jableh city where the incident took place close to a pharmacy, near the Naval Academy, where they smashed the car’s windows, drew their guns and directed them to his head, under the pretext of “disturbing them while driving”, while the residents simply watched and did not intervene to stop the assault on the Syrian citizen, and reliable sources confirmed that the intelligence of the regime was not also able to intervene, it resorted instead to impose itself and its influence, through arresting the pharmacist under the pretext of “changing money for the Russian force”, where this incident ignited a state of wide resentment in Jableh and the areas of the Syrian coastline against the Russian violations against the residents of the area, it is not the first incident of kind, many similar incidents took place previously represented by Russian assaults on the residents without the regime’s intelligence being dare to intervene or to direct any notes to the Russian forces that deliberately assault the locals under false pretexts.
