SDF continue pursuing Daesh cells

The Arab newspapers published on Thursday touched upon SDF’s continuation to pursue Daesh cells and the bombardment in the demilitarized zone in addition to Netanyahu’s plan to resolve the Syrian crisis.

Al-Arab: Netanyahu’s plan to solve the Syrian crisis at Putin’s table

On the Syrian issue, al-Arab newspaper said, “On Thursday, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to Moscow, which is the second in less than a month, during which he is likely to discuss with the Russian President Vladimir Putin a plan to resolve the Syrian crisis.

The visit comes a few days before Israel’s general elections that will be held on April 9, amid speculation that Netanyahu will work during this visit to make a new achievement before the fateful entitlement that will determine his political future.

After the Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied that Netanyahu had offered during his previous visit to Moscow in March 27 a plan for Putin to achieve peace in Syria, he declared on Wednesday that his country was ready to discuss the promised plan.

Peskov made clear that on Thursday, Netanyahu would be in Moscow on a short working visit, pointing out that “Russia will consider the plan to resolve the Syrian crisis, which is expected to be offered by Netanyahu to Putin.”

Al-Quds al-Arabi: Syria: Russian raids and regime forces’ bombing on Idlib kill and injure dozens

Russian warplanes launched eight air strikes on towns in Idlib countryside, which resulted in killing and wounding dozens in coincidence with the conduct of a Turkish reconnaissance patrol in northwest Syria and heavy bombardment of the regime forces on the countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Civil Defense said that a civilian was killed and another got injured by targeting the residential neighborhoods of Al Hawash village with artillery shells of the regime, while a child was killed and his mother and a group of civilians were injured in an intensive shelling that targeted Ma’arshmarin town in the southern countryside of Idlib with high-explosive rockets carrying cluster bombs.

Local sources said that another civilian was killed and two people were wounded in the regime’s bombardment with mortars of the villages of Sahl al-Ghab in Hama northwest countryside as the regime targeted with artillery the two villages of Bab al-Taqah and Al Hawash in Sahl al-Ghab, and that resulted in wounding civilians. Areas in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized zone and Idlib southern countryside were bombarded with fierce rocket fire.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the number of victims in the De-escalation zone has increased to at least 505, including 240 civilians, including 87 children and 49 women, since the signing of the Sochi Agreement, which has moved the region into a precarious middle stage between battle and peace.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: Coalition continues its raids east of the Euphrates to impose surrender on Daesh commanders

Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper talked about pursuing Daesh cells and said, “A spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces confirmed that the International Coalition and the forces continue to pursue the commanders of Daesh to impose surrender on them in eastern Syria.”

The spokeswoman on behalf of Jazeera Tempest Lelwa al-Abdullah said to the German news agency, “The Syrian Democratic Forces have begun their operations pursuing Daesh cells in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor through military and security action in the region and to pursue these cells that are tampering with the security of the region.”

The spokeswoman added, “We have another mission in the liberated areas that is harder than the military action. We are currently working to liberate the region from the thought of Daesh ​organization in the areas it has governed for several years, and this requires the cooperation of all service, administrative and educational institutions and the community’s integrated effort.”
