The remnants of military operations and of the organization leave more wounded and casualties within its former controlled areas in the Syrian territory

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more explosions in areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused by the explosions of the remnants of landmines, explosive devices and shells in the areas used to be controlled by the “Islamic State” organization east of the Euphrates, where the Syrian Observatory monitored a landmine explosion in Al-Susah area near the eastern banks of the Euphrates which injured 3 young men, two of them have amputated limbs where each have lost one of his lower limbs, and the SOHR published 2 days ago, that it documented the death of 2 children in a mine explosion in Hamdania area in the western part of Aleppo city which is under the control of the regime forces, also the explosion injured several people, which ‘may raise the death toll, and with the fall of more people it rose to 82 people including 50 women and 13 children, the number of people who were killed by mines and IED explosions in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, and Deir Ezzor since the 17th of February 2019, and among the total number of casualties the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 43 people including 30 women and 5 children, also the Syrian Observatory documented the killing and execution of 16 members of the regime forces; as they were passing over minefield areas, or arrested by groups of ISIS and executed during their search and collection of the truffle which grows in the areas that is subjected to heavy rain, and it is sold at very high prices, while the IEDs and mines have also left tens of wounded since the second half of February until now, mostly citizen women, and their injuries varied between severe, amputations, middle, and simple wounds.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that remnants of war in Syria continue to take more lives in several areas in Syria, through the explosion of more IEDs and mines, which were mostly planted by the “Islamic State” Organization, some others by the factions and the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3 children and the injury of others in the explosion of a mine in Khan Arnabah town in the countryside of Quneitra, while 3 people -including a woman- were killed in the explosion of mines from the remnants of ISIS in al-Sha’afah village in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 8th of April 2019 that remnants of war in Syria continue to harvest more souls in the places where it took place, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of a grenade in Ein al-Khadra village in the countryside of Tal Kalakh town in the western countryside of Homs, after which a person was killed and others were injured, and in the same context, an explosion was heard in al-Sokhna area in the Syrian desert, it turned out to be caused by a landmine explosion planted by the “Islamic state” organization earlier in the area, which caused injuries, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 6th of April 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of more mines planted by the “Islamic State” organization earlier, where the Syrian Observatory monitored an explosion in al-Shafa area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused by a mine explosion planted earlier by the “Islamic State” Organization, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the finding of the bodies of 7 persons including 5 from the same family including 2 women, where they died while they were searching for the truffle plant in Deir Ezzor Desert, and reliable sources suggested that they were killed by the explosion of landmines planted previously by the “Islamic State” organization in the south-western desert of Deir Ezzor, while 2 persons one of them is a child, were killed due to the explosion of a landmine in them in the same area in the south-western desert of Deir Ezzor city, where it was planted previously in the area.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of April 2019, that it documented more human casualties as a result of the continued explosion of IEDs and mines, where 2 children under the age of eighteen were killed by a landmine explosion on Saturday evening, as a result of the rainfall in al-Der’iyyeh neighborhood near al-Istiqlal Park in al-Raqqah city, where they died affected by their injuries on Sunday morning, also 2 bodies were found on Saturday as a result of a mine explosion in al-Sheikh Nasir village in the countryside of al-Bab city in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of March 2019 that the remnants of the war on Syria’s territory are still killing and wounding more people, within the controlled areas of the regime forces, the controlled areas of the factions and the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces, and in every time, they leave more human losses, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of about 10 persons after they had been injured in the area of Tal Jabin in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which is controlled by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, due to the explosion of mines of the remnants of the military operations in the area, the Syrian Observatory also monitored the explosion of a landmine in the vicinity of Al-Raqqah city which killed a child, north of Al-Raqqah city, where the “Islamic State” organization planted it previously, while the SOHR monitored the death of 3 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, in the explosion of landmines in them in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the SOHR monitored in the past 48 hours, the explosion of a landmine in Hajin area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which killed  a young man and injured a child with severe wounds that led to having his leg amputated, while a man and his pregnant wife were killed with 2 of their sons as a result of the explosion of a landmine in al-Tawwamiyyah village in Deir Ezzor countryside, the explosion also resulted in the injury of a woman from the same family.
