Al-Suwaidaa province witnesses a new kidnapping within a new series of security chaos in it

Al-Suwaidaa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard in the neighborhood of Al-Kahrabaa housing in Al-Suwaidaa city, it turned out that it was caused by a grenade thrown by a person near a bus carrying passengers, without information about injuries so far, while unidentified gunmen kidnapped a man and his wife in Al-Raha village in Al-Suwaidaa countryside, and took them to unknown destination, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it monitored clashes after midnight of yesterday near al-Mishnaqa Roundabout in al-Suwaidaa city, it turned out to be caused by clashes between two factions, one from the city and the other one from Salkhad town, which killed a member of Salkhad factions and injured others, and the tension continues to prevail in the area until the moment, amid large public dissatisfaction due to the undergoing insecurity and the inability of those responsible for the security of the province to control it, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 13th of April 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored unknown gunmen shooting at a car of a person; local sources said that it belongs to the head of a kidnapping gang in al-Suwaidaa province, where he and his escort were wounded then the gunmen escaped, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 10th of April 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of alertness prevailing the countryside Al-Suwaidaa province by the local gunmen loyal to the regime forces against the backdrop of kidnapping 2 citizen women from Qanawat village in Al-Suwaidaa countryside by unidentified gunmen, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Tuesday, that an explosion was heard dawn of today in Al-Suwaidaa city, it turned out to be caused by throwing a sound bomb by unknown person near the province building, followed by gunfire from the building’s guards which caused material damage, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 7th of April 2019 that the security chaos continues in al-Suwaidaa province without any measures to limit or terminate it, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shooting by unidentified gunmen during the hours of last night, against a car of citizens near Deir al-Laban area west of Brikah village in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, then they robbed them, stole their car, and fled, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 28th of March 2019 that the security chaos leads the daily scene in al-Suwaidaa Province, where the kidnapping, killing, armed manifestation, and intimidation are becoming a concern to the citizens residents of the province, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the last 48 hours the kidnaping of 7 citizens in several areas of the province, and in details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: unidentified gunmen abducted 3 workers from a gas station in al-Qariya town in the southern countryside of al-Suwaidaa, and in the same context, unidentified gunmen abducted a man and his son near Mardak village in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, also a veterinarian was kidnapped with his car in Al-Suwaidaa countryside, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of money to release him, while the contact was lost with a man from al-Suwaidaa city near the al-Fayha’a Park, then it turned out that he was kidnapped by unknown people, and the kidnappers demanded ransom of money as well, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 26th of March 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that unidentified persons have written phrases denouncing the regime and its head (Bashar Al-Assad) on the walls of Al-Ferqah Al-Hizbiyyeh the “Party Division”, in Taraba village in the countryside of Al-Suwaidaa province, where the writings say “down with Al-Assad”, “Al-Golan was sold by Al-Assad” and “Al-Assad is treacherous”, Separately, and as a part of the ongoing and escalating security chaos in Al-Suwaidaa province, the Syrian Observatory monitored clashes near Sahwat Al-Qamh checkpoint in Harran area in Al-Suwaidaa countryside, between local gunmen loyal to the regime forces against other gunmen in the area, after a disagreement between the both parties, where the clashes left injuries in the ranks of the both parties, and the SOHR published on the 24th of March 2019, that the security chaos continues in al-Suwaidaa Province, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that unknown gunmen kidnapped yesterday two men from Daraa city, who are working in the collection of haberdashery in al-Suwaidaa countryside, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 10 million Syrian pounds for the release of the abductees.

kidnapped a family and then released the women and keep 2 men, and took them to an unknown destination, and the sources suggested that the kidnapping took place for the purpose of paying a ransom, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published earlier that  the Syrian Observatory monitored after midnight of yesterday gunfire in the vicinity of Tarba village east of al-Suwaidaa, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: members of the local factions of al-Suwaidaa opened their heavy machineguns’ fire after midnight of yesterday on a motorcycle that was moving in the vicinity of the area along the desert, targeting cells of the “Islamic State” organization, but no information about casualties until the moment, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 1st of March 2019 that the dialogue, understanding, and collecting rights in regime forces’-controlled areas transformed to language of bullets, where the rights became obtainable only by gunfire, as the conversation  has become useless, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new security chaos in al-Suwaidaa city, where tens of the citizens in Al-Suwaidaa city closed the main roads of the city in conjunction with opening gunfire, and that took place while the city’s supply manager and a tanker containing gasoline were present in the city, where the citizens seized the tanker and forced its owner to distribute it to the people at the regular price set by the government, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the morning of the 27th of February 2019 that the security chaos continues in Al-Suwaidaa province and its countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored 2 separate incidents in which the escalation of security chaos in the province was observed, where citizens shot yesterday night at the buildings of al-Baath party and the municipal of the regime forces in Salkhad town in the southern countryside of al-Suwaidaa, and this came after they waited for hours for a petrol tanker to come, then they were surprised -according to local sources- that the tanker changed its destination towards another place, which provoked rage among them so they fired at both buildings and destroyed several vehicle of the municipal, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the firing stops after the arrival of the Russian delegate from the southern area to the town, as part of the calming the situation down and giving promises to the citizens to supply them with fuel, and in another context, a loud gunfire was heard yesterday night in al-Suwaidaa city, caused by a raid by local factions of the house of the boss of one of the armed gangs accused of kidnapping and looting in the city, where clashes took place between both parties and injured several people of both parties.
