ISIS cells continue their targeting to the members of the SDF and kill a member of them in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new operation by the cells of the “Islamic State” organization within the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces east of the Euphrates River, within the operation of their “revenge for al-Sham state”, where gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells have assassinated a member of the SDF by shooting him in al-Kasra town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, which caused his death, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the joint presidency of the People’s Council in Al-Busayrah and its countryside” of the Syria Democratic Forces, has issued a circular to impose a curfew in (Al-Busayrah, al-Suwar, Theban and Gharanij) in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, from 9:00 pm Syria time to 5:00 am, during the period between the 23rd of April 2019 and the 3rd of May 2019, and with the fall of more human losses, it rose to 280 fighters, civilians, oil workers, and officials in service parties, in areas within the 4 provinces of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in the northeast of Aleppo Province, which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, where the Syrian Observatory monitored these cells assassinating 81 civilians including a woman in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakah countryside, al-Raqqah city and countryside, and Manbij area, in addition to the assassination of 210 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces including local leaders in the same areas, and 4 members of International Coalition were killed, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human monitored the injury of tens of people due to these assassinations.

And the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that 8 months have passed since the “Islamic State” Organization announced the beginning of its revenge operations on the 19th of August 2018, within the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas east of Euphrates area, in which it lost all what remained for it in the east bank of Euphrates River, after the operations with the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces, the last of which was its loss for Baghuz Farms after announcing victory by the SDF and the Coalition on the 23rd of March 2019, which intensified the organization’s attacks and retaliation revenging its successive defeats there, through thousands of its cells which the sources of the Syrian Observatory suggested that there are between 4000 to 5000 members in villages, towns, and cities controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, who have infiltrated earlier to these areas and formed sleeper cells, some of which follow the “Islamic State” Organization while others follow or pushed by regional parties, to spread chaos in the area and target the Syria Democratic Forces and their controlled areas, causing casualties and wounded each time.

The Syria Democratic Forces -in turn- has been trying to reduce the chaos and insecurity, which sparked widespread public discontent in various areas of its control east of Euphrates River, where SDF have been carrying out raids and arrests according to intelligence information with the support of the International Coalition, in addition to intensifying their patrols in the neighborhoods periodically, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas in the east Euphrates area, are witnessing decline in the operations which are carried out by ISIS-affiliated cells, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the reprisals within the “revenge war for al-Sham State” have subsided in the past few days, and they were limited to targeting Arab fighters within the Syria Democratic Forces or civilian contractors in the military, security, and logistic field because of their presence and deployment in the areas in which they reside, while the role of the Kurdish members of the Syria Democratic Forces is limited to training and supervision of the aforementioned fighters, or they are present at headquarters within al-Omar Filed, al-Tank, and Koniko field, and their mission is to protect the American forces or training, and the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas are witnessing increased resentment among the citizens living there, due to the continuation and escalation of the security chaos, and the spread of armed groups that rob and loot the shops and houses day and night, where the gunmen are impersonating the Syria Democratic Forces and make mock patrols, where they raid homes at night and steal them, in conjunction with the a crazy rise in prices at these areas.
