Regime forces shelled demilitarized zone intensively

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the regime’s forces have escalated their shelling of areas of the so-called demilitarized zone on Saturday in retaliation for the bloody attacks that targeted them during the past two days.

Where Khan Sheikhoun city in the southern countryside of Idlib have been exposed to more than 40 rockets. The regime also targeted densely with rockets the populated areas in Um Jalal, Tahtaya, Ma’aret al-Nu’man, Abu Habbe, Talmans and Jerjenaz in the southern, eastern and southeastern regions of Idlib, which left behind wounded in Ma’aret al-Nu’man city.

In a relevant context, the Syrian Observatory also monitored clashes and targets intermittently on the axis of al-Rashiden in the western suburbs of the city of Aleppo between the forces of the regime on the one hand and the mercenaries on the other hand.

During the last two days, the regime’s forces were exposed to bloody attacks by Hayet Tahrir al-Sham on axes in the western suburbs of the city of Aleppo, within the areas of the so-called demilitarized zone, in which 13 members of the regime’s forces were killed. This was accompanied by similar attacks by Daesh mercenaries on the regime positions in the countryside of Homs, which caused the deaths of 35 regime forces’ soldiers among them officers.
