More than 6 were killed and injured in a car explosion in the capital Damascus more than 3 months after the last explosion

Damascus Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion shook the capital Damascus on Wednesday morning, the 24th of April 2019, it was caused by an explosion in a car in Aisha River area and it caused casualties, where one person was killed and at least 5 other people were injured, but it is not known until the moment whether the explosion was caused by the fuel inside the car or something else, and the Syrian Observatory published that explosion shook the capital Damascus in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, the 20th of January 2018, it turned out that it was caused by an explosion in al-Motahalleq al-Janoubi area, near one of the security branches of the military intelligence there, accompanied by heavy gunfire in the area, but is not known until the moment whether the explosion was an IED explosion or a booby-trapped vehicle, which targeted a security figure of the regime, or if it was caused by suicide attacks, amid confirmed information about casualties and injuries in the explosions, while the regime forces imposed a security cordon on the explosion area, in addition to closing several roads in the area, it worth mentioning that Jabhat al-Nusra Front carried out the first suicide attack in Syria by 2 suicide bombers in Kafarsuseh area on the 23rd of December 2011, followed by a series of explosions claimed by the al-Nusra Front organization later and announced it, the most recent of which was a bombing in December 2017, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 14th of December, 2017 that a violent explosion was rocked the capital Damascus early this morning, Thursday the 14th of December 2017, caused by detonating a booby trapped vehicle near Al-Lawan Bridge on Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi (the Southern Bypass) of the capital, and no information about casualties was reported yet.
