Casualties and injuries in rocket shelling carried out by the regime forces on a camp near the Turkish point in Sahl al-Ghab, and the Turkish guarantor prevents citizens from taking refuge in its point
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored intensive artillery shelling carried out by the regime forces on area of camps for the displaced people and the vicinity of Sher Mghar village in which there is a Turkish point in the northwestern countryside of Hama, which killed 2 citizens and injured other displaced people, where the displaced people established primitive tents close to the Turkish point to escape the horror of the escalating military operations, perhaps approaching points of the Turkish guarantor may protect them from death, and reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that after the today’s bombing the citizens tried to resort to the Turkish point, to take refuge, but members of the point opened fire in the air attempting to prevent the people from entering the point, followed by a fire carried out by gunmen targeting the displaced people, and in the same context, the factions operating at the northern countryside of Hama targeted by mortar shells areas in al-Aziziya village in the western countryside of Hama, which is controlled by the regime forces, while the Russian warplanes escalated the shelling on areas in al-Jabriya village in the northern countryside of Hama and outskirts of Baarbu village in the southwestern countryside of Idlib.
And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll of casualties rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 9th day, to 163 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 29th of April 2019, they are 49 civilians including 12 children and 11 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 4 civilians casualty was killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 28 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 67 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 29th of April 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 530 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 286 civilians including 83 children under the age of eighteen and 68 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 28 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 6 citizens over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 88 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 54 fighters of the “jihadis” and 156 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 759 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 366 civilians including 115 children and 80 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 31 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 155 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 68 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 238 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the air and missile escalation continues on its 9th consecutive day, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored 4 raids by Russian warplanes on Monday noon, targeted places in Tremla village and its outskirts in Jabal Shashabo in the southwestern countryside of Idlib, also the Syrian Observatory monitored that the regime’s warplanes took part in the bombardment, and carried out a raid targeting places in Shulin village in Jabal Shashabo, they also targeted by heavy machineguns Qal’aat al-Madiq town in Sahl al-Ghab, amid continuous flight of warplanes and drones over the countryside of Idlib and Hama, while the regime forces shelled places in al-Tamanah town in the southern countryside of Idlib and other places in Kabani area and the surrounding hills in the northeastern countryside of Latakia, and the villages of Sharia and Hwaiz at the northwestern countryside of Hama, but no information about Injuries, also regime forces renewed the shelling and targeted areas in Qal’aat al-Madiq town and al-Sahriyya village at the northwestern countryside of Hama, and in the same context, the factions targeted using rocket shells places in al-Rasif village in the western countryside of Hama which is controlled by the regime forces.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Jihadist factions and groups continue to escalate their attacks against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them since the 29th of April 2019, within the demilitarized area extending from the northeastern mountains of Latakia to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city, passing through the countryside of Hama and Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory learned that “Jaysh Abu Bakr al-Siddiq” of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carried out with the first hours of the dawn a violent attack against al-Athar checkpoint of the regime forces, which is located east of Qal’aat al-Madiq town in the northwestern sector of Hama countryside, where violent clashes took place between both parties accompanied by exchange of targeting causing casualties in their ranks, where at least 8 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while at least 3 members of Tahrir al-Sham were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to the presence of information about other deaths, and the attacked was followed by intensive bombing carried out by the regime forces targeting Qal’aat al-Madiq in Sahl al-Ghab, and al-Sahriyya village in Jabal Shashabo, while the Russian warplanes targeted after midnight of yesterday with more raids places in the vicinity of Qora village in Jabal Shashabo, raising to 4, the number of raids carried out since yesterday night that targeted the village and its surroundings.
