On the second day of the most violent escalation, more barrel bombs target the Russian – Turkish truce areas amid intense ground shelling by more than 100 missiles and shells

Helicopters continue dropping pour their wrath on areas of the dilapidated Russian – Turkish truce areas with the sunset of the 1st of May 2019, in conjunction with intensive ground shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on areas in Hama and Idlib countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for human rights monitored the helicopters dropping 4 barrel bombs on areas in Kafr Nabudah town and al-Jisat village in the northwestern countryside of Hama, 2 barrel bombs on areas in al-Sakhr village in the northern countryside of Hama, and 2 barrel bombs on areas in the vicinity of al-Hbit in the southern countryside of Idlib, accompanied by opening heavy machineguns’ fire by the warplanes on areas in the neighboring towns of Kafr Nabudah and al-Hbit and Kafr Sejneh village in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with rocket shelling by about 70 shells by the regime forces on areas in the villages of Abdeen and Kafr Ayn west of Khan Shaykhun city, also areas in al-Sharia village in Sahl al-Ghab and Kafr Nabudah town in the northwestern countryside of Hama, and areas in al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, were under rocket shelling by the regime forces, which caused injuries in Sharia village, amid bringing more reinforcements by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the National Liberation Front, and the Turkestani Islamic party to areas in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, raising to 97, the number of barrel bombs dropped since the morning, and they are: 19 on al-Hbit town south of Idlib, 5 on Naqir, 6 on Kafr Nabudah northwest Hama, 5 on al-Sakhra, 4 on Karsaa, 3 barrel bombs on each for Tal Aas, Kafr Ayn , Tremla and its outskirts, al-Bana, al-Sahriyya, Jaatah, al-Ameriyah, Tal Hawash, Tal Rasha, al-Jabriya, al-Faqea’ and the outskirts of Kafrnebbul, KafrSajneh, Abdeen, and Maarzita, and 2 barrel bombs on areas in al-Jisat village in the northwestern countryside of Hama, the Syrian Observatory also documented the rise in death toll of casualties caused by the aerial and missile bombardment since the  midnight of yesterday until now to 7 civilian casualties including 3 women, and they are: 3 including a woman were killed in targeting by machineguns of warplanes for their car in Abdeen village south of Idlib, and a woman was killed in a helicopter bombing on Rakaya, and a person was killed in shelling by helicopters on Maarzita, in addition to a man who was killed in shelling by the regime forces on the Kafrenbudeh.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll of casualties rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 11th day, to 175 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 1st of May 2019, they are 58 civilians including 12 children and 15 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 4 civilians casualty was killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 28 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 70 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 1st of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 542 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 295 civilians including 83 children under the age of eighteen and 72 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 28 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 88 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 54 fighters of the “jihadis” and 159 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 771 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 375 civilians including 115 children and 84 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 31 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 155 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 68 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 241 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that regime’s warplanes carried out more raids with missiles, where they targeted al-Hbit town south of Idlib and Kafr Nabudah north of Hama with an air raid each, 2 raids on Qal’aat al-Madiq and 2 on Al-Ankawi in Sahl al-Ghab, while they continue their heavy machineguns targeting of places in al-Hbit, Tal Hawash, and other places in Sahl al-Ghab.

The Russian warplanes also carried out 2 new raids targeting places on the outskirts of Abdeen town in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, raising to at least 13, the number of Russian airstrikes which were carried out since this morning, where 4 of them targeted places in al-Ankawi at Sahl al-Ghab, and 3 raids targeted places in Tremla and its surroundings south of Idlib, and 2 raids on al-Qassabiyyeh and the outskirts of Abdeen in southern countryside of Idlib, and a raid on the northern outskirts of Marshourin in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and another raid on Mshirfah village in the eastern countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, and in the same context, the regime forces carried out a new rocket shelling and targeted areas on the outskirts of Jabal al-Zawiyah, al-Tamanah and other areas in southern countryside of Idlib.
