3 days after they killed 8 members of the regime force…the jihadi groups carry out a new attack on positions of the regime forces within the demilitarized zone in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia

Despite the aerial and ground escalation in both Hama and Idlib countryside within the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and the areas of the deal between the two presidents, the jihadi groups are still continuing to carry out their attacks on positions of the regime forces within the abovementioned areas, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Right monitored an attack by members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on positions of the regime forces in the area of Nab’ Al-Murr in Jabal Al-Turkman in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia, where clashes took place between the both parties, amid confirmed information about human losses in the ranks of the both parties, and the SOHR published that the Jihadist factions and groups continue to escalate their attacks against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them since the 29th of April 2019, within the demilitarized area extending from the northeastern mountains of Latakia to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city, passing through the countryside of Hama and Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory learned that “Jaysh Abu Bakr al-Siddiq” of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carried out with the first hours of the dawn a violent attack against al-Athar checkpoint of the regime forces, which is located east of Qal’aat al-Madiq town in the northwestern sector of Hama countryside, where violent clashes took place between both parties accompanied by exchange of targeting causing casualties in their ranks, where at least 8 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while at least 3 members of Tahrir al-Sham were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to the presence of information about other deaths.
